Love these tutorials, Alex! Keep them coming! 👍🏼
the one good thing about this whole quarantine is I have all the time in the world to practice. Thanks for pumping out the videos, Alex! It goes a long way, I promise!
I know right we all seem to have much more time to actually practice technique palming etc!!
I'm from Chile, and I just received three noc decks from the Spring Sale (Winter edition, super and on wood) THEY ARE GREAT!!! Loved them :D
thanks for making this tutorial clear enough that it is even easy for a lefty like me to do the same but mirrored
Just started learning card tricks 2 weeks ago. Love the tutorials. You make it look so easy. Going to keep working on it. Thanks for the tips and insights.
Awesome video Alex! Loving the consistent uploads
Great video as always, love that bonus tip at the end. The good old clumsy with cards technique, no one ever thinks your doing something sneaky when it looks like you’ve messed up! Also makes people realise you weren’t keeping their card on the top like they probably thought haha.
With the over hand shuffle from bottom to top I always do a few shuffles keeping the card at the bottom and then do it where I move it to the top. When people see overhand shuffles they rarely do just one and observant people might look suspiciously.
I also always do my overhands like I’m retaining a card so that all my shuffles look the same.
Many thanks again for explaining these simple and effective techniques Alex... indeed practice required as always ;
Whenever I encounter someone who wants to get into card magic, I point them your way. Videos like this are doing a huge service to budding magicians! Thank you!
They helped me get started and I still love to drop by for advice!!😀

Can confirm. These come in handy in live performances. I prefer the double undercut method myself.
Yup that works! Mainly its good to know a few of these so you can get in an out depending on your situation 👍🏻
@@AlexPandrea For sure! I love having an arsenal of moves and utilities at my disposal! Especially when I get a heckler lol

Takumi Takahashi teaches it really good in his video “A Study on Lennart Green.” You can buy it from Shin Lim’s website
If you have a break over a card in the middle, is it possible to "overhand shuffle" (or something that looks like it) it to the top or bottom of the deck, without it looking sketchy?
This is my take on transferring a card from the bottom to the top. The first time recall seeing it done the way you did it was in a Jay Sankey video. I never liked the way it look. To me, it looks like you're undoing what you just did.
I'm going to describe the two ways I like to do it. So you're holding the break over the bottom card with the right thumb. Swing cut the top half to the left hand. Place those cards underneath. Of course you still holding the break. Swing cut about half of the cards above the break to the left hand. Place those cards underneath. Swing cut the rest of the cards above the break to the left hand and place those underneath. You're going to need to do one of three things just before the last swing cut. 1. Slightly raise the cards that are above the break. I mean very slightly and that goes for all three movements. 2. Slightly lower the cards that are below the break. 3. Slightly push the cards that are above the break forward.
I am not going to say why you need to do one of three things. If you attempt the procedure you'll find out.
Second method
As before, swing cut the top half to the left hand and place the cards on the bottom. Cut off about half of the cards that are above the break and place them on the table. Place the rest of the cards above the break on top of the first packet. Place the balance of the deck on top of all.
I like the other stuff in the video.
Tata can tell me how be creative in magic how to make up my own stuff like the great magicians shin lim... because l don't mind anything so what to do?
I have troubles with placing packets on top with my double undercuts. It never seems smooth enough
1:04 dani daortiz needs to know your location😂
Very good I am from india
can u give a tutorial on clipshift man
Harry lorayne's opinion was a control,double lift,force,palm,and,false shuffle
4:04 & 4:19 how do you make that flick? Any tips on making it spin and look as solid? Mine just keeps the same orientation, doesn't make half spin...
It's a color change called the duck change. Just watch tutorials on that change and you should get the hang of it. Hope this helps!
@@RomansTDM so it was allmost what I thought. I just didn't have the finger push correctly in the middle to make the spin. Thx for the tip!
The deck is fucking sick!love it!❤️
I was practicing your first move your learned and then this is posted an hour later
Please... Teach us the hardest Card Control you know☺️
How about from the middle to the bottom or to the top?
Started on the bottom now I’m here! ;)
what if you started at the top 🤔

Hello everyone, in completely New to this. Is there any book or something that is a must for card magic and technique?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers.
I've heard that The Royal Road to Card Magic by Jean Hugard is a highly recommended one. :D

Hey alex,
I want you to upload an vedio on how to handle the cards like magician.
I do a stuf with cards but i thing cards not suits my hand
What do i do?
You arent automatically gonna be able to handle cards like a magician, it all takes years of practice.
Evan Hensley MAGIC i’ve been doing 6 montgs of magic and can do phased hehe
@@miguelabad140 Thats great man, but in terms of handling cards like a magician I mean being able to do effect after effect and having a massive amount of stuff to choose from.
🔥🔥
i hate doing breaks and pinky stuff lol, too hard for me.
Hey Alex, I need some help. So when i perform sleight of hand, people say that its obvious how i do everything and that they know everything i was doing .do you have any tips on how i could improve?please reply I need your help
Have you tried eithe blindfolding or gagging your audience?
@@kingrobert1st lol
For me is card control. This will lead to a lot of sleights in the long run
honestly, if i need to put a card from the top to the bottom, I will use the cardini color change idk but it works
Great content as always love your stuff you inspire us all to improve our own handling and make us all better magicians!!😀
