God, the part where he focuses on each of his villains is so good. I particularly like how Doc Ock was excluded, considering just how close he was to Peter, hence why he wouldn't insult the man.

I think Spider-Man is my favorite superhero because he just feels so human, most of his story is dealing with his own issues and still persisting to do the right thing. THAT is a hero.

@@Dragon49600 when Spider-Man is bonded with the symbiote, the symbiote produces its' own webbing, making him no longer need his web-shooters. The line is saying that Spider-man would rather rely on his own inventions to be a hero than relying on the symbiote, further reinforcing the notion that Spider-man is a self-made hero. The things that make him heroic come from within him, not from outside sources like the Venom symbiote.
This is one of the best ye've ever made lads. Love the chorus!

I like how this encapsulates the personality of the 60's Spider-Man. In those he was brash, and loved punching people, he even challenged flash to a boxing match and mercilessly pummeled him because he threw a foot ball at him.

Spider-man is, and always will be, my favorite hero of all time. Typically I dislike heroes who stick to the code of never killing, but there's something our Spider-man's absolute resolution that I find very honorable, mix that in with how he risks life and limb to protect a town where he's hated, and how he does it without being paid for protecting him... I just don't see how you couldn't like the guy

This game will always hold a lot of sentiment with me. Spider-Man 2 was one of my favorite games back when I had ps2, I remember that I was talking about it and my aunt who loved video games suprised me the next week with the game, I would get it over the weekends and she got it during the weeks, though she suffered from motion sickness and when rdr2 came around the day before she said I could have the game, and then sadly the next day she had passed away, thus this games ending really had me in tears, and even now when I see this vid or play the game it’s always kinda bittersweet, anyways sorry for rambling on😂, but really I loved this song when it first came out, thank you

I love how it plays on the fact that you already know the line, so it just gives you the first part: "with great power". I really love Spiderman, just because he has no real gain for being a hero, no money, no speacial deals, nothing, he just does it, cause he knows that no one else will. In fact, he's always losing other parts of his life and suffering personally all the time, in order to continue to fight crime, at least in the game, which is honestly, probably one of the best Spiderman stories EVER!
Another hero who's really great, is Batman, because he was triggered by the loss of family, and decided to dedicate his life to fighting crime, just like Peter when he lost uncle Ben. However, even though Batman didn't have any super powers, he also has millions of dollars, an entire family fortune to spend on whatever he wants. He can spend every spare moment as Batman, and it wouldn't hurt him at all. Sure, he had to train himself tremendously, but after the initial training and research, Spider-man actually has it a lot harder. I mean, we see him kicked out of his apartment in the beginning of the game for crying out loud!
They're both great characters though, and most other super heroes are decently written too... except Superman, he's just cheap. No offence to the icon on super heroes... I mean, it's not like he's invincible and can only even feel pain when subjected to some stupid green rock, right? It's not like he has a complete lack of motivation, right? It's not like he has any personal life issues with being a superhero as a side job, right? (I actually don't know about that last one...) But, come one?! Don't even try to tell me he's a well written character!
