The most heart wrenching love song ever. You can feel the emotion behind it.
The line ,"when I grow older I will be there by your side to remind you how I still love you" is particularly moving. Freddie always made sure that Mary was looked after, during his life they remained the best of friends, and even in death, he left her the vast majority of his estate.
And when he died, she was there at his side. It's the stuff of a classic romance story.

Maybe she blinded him with a camera flash! Crowd using camera flash from a low distance can be performer's pain in the a**. So, at that part of a second - he sarcastically thanked her for flash in his eyes, but she didn't get it, being in a shock because he noticed her!
He continued looking at her when his sight turned back because she's beautiful. Maybe he felt a bit guilty for being so harsh on her... I would - she just wanted to freeze the moment when they're in font of her, singing beautiful song, which happens once in a life time!

I strongly believe Rock Montreal is one of the best live Queen performances. Freddie’s voice is strong and crystal clear. Roger’s drumming is impeccable. Brian is a legend (as usual). And John is John (what more can you ask).

This song brings tears to my eyes and I am a 53 year old bloke. Queen & Freddie Mercury were so unique. You never appreciate the precious things in life until you lose them. RIP Freddie. Timeless music from the best rock band in the world!

I totally relate. I was in high school when he died and was devastated. Even then there was a lot speculations but for the most part there were some decency and privacy back then without iPhones and social media. Whatever little money I had, I bought most of the queen cassette tapes in the 80s and watched MTV videos (radio Gaga, etc). When I hear his voice, brings me straight back to the 80s. I miss him, I miss his music and I miss my youth.

Fun fact about that iconic "They don't know it": the latest shows they had played had been in South America. In Argentina and Brazil, they were blown out their minds when at football stadiums with capacity for 70000 people, the crowds sang all of this song, at points louder than Freddie, even though argentines and brazilians don't speak English. Freddie saying to Brian that they don't know it is him showing his disappointment with the crowd for staying quiet and not singing along like south americans did.
My dad was able to see them in 3 out of the 4 concerts in Argentina. He will never forget it.

I was born in 1994 and for about 10-11 years ago I came across this concert on tv because my dad watching and I saw Rock Montreal and Freddie dancing around in his short shorts and caps and just a scarf around his neck and I thought what the heck is this, people go almost thru the roof and just absolute crazy. Next day I just search alittle on you tube to see more of this band and then I came across one of Freddie's vocal improvisation live at wembley. I got totally shocked that this band and this man had such control over the people and such vocal power and I watch the clip over and over the whole day and night and got stunned every time. From that moment I finally realized what people meant when they said that some music can make you cry, make you happy. I instantly new that this was the band I was born to listen to. Today I almost can't watch other bands or vocalist playing live on tv or listen to there music because I always compare them to Queen and Freddie Mercury😀
bigqueenfan1234 i was born in 1997 and i was 13when i heard song we will rock you in my brother mobile but not by queen version..it has got rap in middle sung by some other artist and my brother and i got addicted to that song though we had no idea it was originally by queen..we didnt even knew such band existed..and after some days we got to hear i want to break free audio again sung by other artist some DJ has covered that song and again got addicted to that song and still we didnt knew it was queen..after 2 years my brother brought video of i want to break free song in mobile and he showed me and that was the 1st time i saw freddie,brian,roger,john playin as girls and i said what the heck is this..i said he had a moustache atleast he had shaved that though i didnt knew anything about them..and i said the cover song is far better than original..again after some month my brother bought bohemian rhapsody song and asked me to listen it..i listened it and after listening about 3 times i liked the song until opera began ..and i told my brother what the heck is the 2nd part(opera part..mamma mia ,bismillah and all)then i started listening to 1st part only and when opera starts i always stopped song.and finally after 3 years later in at 19 i saw watchmojo most amazing live performance and at 1 there was queen live aid ..and i said i guess i know this band and i searched live aid in you tube and when freddie entered with his pant and white innerwear..and raised his both hand in air , i saw those hairy armpit and those chesthair and big moustache and i was omg this man is dirty.. how can a rockstar look like him and i started watching the video ;the 1st song was bohemian rhapsody and when he was playing piano at the beginning i was like i have heard this and at that 1st melody i got tears in my eyes..then radio gaga,crazy little thing called love,hammer to fall,and guess what came next;we will rock you;the song me and my brother has so much memory of;then came we are champions and i saw the crowd was too high to handle and i was like yes this is what rockstar are supposed to be .. then i searched freddie mercury ,i thought he was alive and later found he was dead only at age of 45 and that broked my heart and and then i started watching their concerts and i was shocked that a man can hypnotise 300,000,000 of people and make them do whatever he wants by the movement of his hand...i saw the video of under pressure in 1986 and was literally shaking by seeing the powre and charisma of this god...his passion toward music blown me away and made me to unlike every artist of today generation whom i thought were talented..and now i worship freddie ,everytime i go temple i remember freddie and pray that he is happy and even say him to come back ..i have watched every videos possible of freddie ...watched every concert at least 100 times..my entire phone has picture of him,songs and concert,i want to name my niece freddie,though its totally uncommon name in hindu religion and my mom is very scared of my love towards freddie...she says you are going to be a psychopath if you do this for a long time and some months ago i started feeling that i m mentally little different ...i had started taking freddie so serious that i had kept him like a real man with me and i when i realise this i was little scared and terrified,now i dont watch him so much as before but my love for him and queen will last beyoung infinity...till the last breath i take i m gonna worship this man and not only me but my future generation will also do the same..for me freddie is not dead..he is always with me and i m very excited as movie on his life is coming and i cant wait for that..
