Solid advice. However, i think the 3 nodes in 1 option for 2 turns is a solid option. It at least puts those points in 1 option instead of spreading them out.
Think of it this way. It's like you used 2 turns, and 1 of them you got a great success in the option it landed in. You're trading the turn for the chance it lands all those points in the option you want. Additionally, that option can great success and you'll get giga points. It's a great option for supports as they can have 2 filler slots in the chest and shoulders. The 2 points for 2 turns is not recommended, as it's only giving you the effect of putting them in the same option. If you just need points to complete set, it's a fine option. If you're rolling for BiS, it's an indicator for stopping that elixir. If it doesn't land in the option you need, you stop transmuting the elixir and move on to the next one.
This is not to be confused with, 3 effects get transmuted at the same time for 2 turns. This one is a bait, and not worth.
A lot of elixir cutting is luck based, but there are strats to at least nudge the end result in your favour. I'm talking from a lot of experience in cutting elixirs. I have 6 characters with 40 set, and 4 of which got 40 set on the same week. One of my characters is a 1600 with 35 set without ever stepping foot into voldis normal. (freebie silver elixirs)
Overall the purple elixirs require you to take risks. You just have to weigh the risk and choose carefully. Taking huge risks is how you cut those 4/3, 4/4's. If you think you can play it safe and get something usable, you won't.
Thanks for the video, i wish i could catch your stream on the weekdays when you're playing lost ark, I usually end up in your stream on break days when you're playing something else.

Agree, 3 same node for 2 rounds is good trade, if you are lucky it will make your elixir, if you are unlucky, still it can create another viable route to good elicir in the end.

Agreed on this, on each turn, you ideally want to get an average of 1.5 nodes to end up with at least a 4/4 5/3, so this option cuts out to be just even, definitely something I like to take if it shows up within the first 2 turns

for purple elixirs i heavely favour the biggest gamba exaust options.
if it works you have a shot at a decent elixir.
if it doesnt easyest dismantle ever

That is problem of 6/4 strategy, you basically need all stars align for it to work. For me was on purples elixirs much more consistent to go for sage kill around middle of elixir than trying get that perfect extra round and then kill in the end. It is great when it happen, but you mostly need more than 2 rerolls to pull it off. But it is nice to see realistic elixir cutting of someone who know what he is doing but as we see, even like that results are still from 80% only rng.

Hi, can someone tell me if what I was advised is true? I'm basically a beginner, I currently only have 2 characters (I just started) and I asked an acquaintance if he could help me power up my character with elixirs. Since at the time I had a 1610 gear, this acquaintance "advised" me that it wasn't worth it to use purple elixirs to power up, and he told me; you should use the legendary ones! I replied, but excuse me, but if what you say is true, what's the point of including these elixirs? Then I told him, moreover I would have to reach 1620 to use the legendary ones, which seems strange to me when I see a majority of users who don't have a 1620 gear but have powered up their character with elixirs.

It's just easier to get 7 points or above on a legendary elixir due to an extra turn and more slots, so if you were close to 1620 then your gold may be better wasted on legendaries.
I'd say roll all your event elixirs and maybe you get lucky with a piece or two that hit 7 or above that you can use in the future. You can actually combine purple and legendary, you just need to hit a total of 35/40 points.
You most likely will roll a bunch of trash in terms of total points and you are quite unlikely to even hit 35 set with purple alone, I only got 35 set with legendary and I'm still working on 40 set.
What you can do for now though with purples, is just focus on any stat increases and bonuses that give pure dps. HP on chestpiece is also very nice. Even if they are low rolls, those small amounts do add up.
Basically you can give yourself an easy initial dps boost, but don't go too crazy in terms of gold on purples, try save resources for honing to 1620 and getting legendary. You'll be replacing all the old purple ones quite quickly when you get there, and the first 35 set also becomes easy to obtain. (40 set is HELL though, you can expect to be sitting with 35 for quite some time)
Also by the time you do unlock leggy elixirs, the costs will have been nerfed. Possibly even reworked completely!

@@raveturkey1996 Hi, actually I've been at 1620 for a while now, but it didn't seem to me that you needed gold to use the purple elixirs, but silver. I think that for the legendary elixirs you will now need gold to be able to use them, the problem is that I wanted help from someone who could help me use these elixirs, (I forgot to specify that I don't have much experience and I only have 2 characters, it's been about 4/5 months since I started playing, the character who is at 1620 is the one I created with the "reason why I managed to reach 1620" pass). Maybe if there was someone who could guide me in using these elixirs I would also have a way to learn.

@@user-ii8og1xw5s ah nice, I was under the impression you still had to reach 1620.
I haven't rolled normal purple elixirs for awhile now so didn't know they had their gold cost removed! Although maybe double check that, event elixirs purple and leggy cost silver.
Anyways, I think you should roll a bunch of purple ones to practice with first and maybe it brings you close to 35 set. Then you can start rolling your event legendries (uses silver only) and a few normal ones and hopefully you get that first set bonus.
No point in trying to rush 40 set because it's impossible, the current gold costs are awful and it would be more efficient to only go all in after nerfs or a rework.
As for cutting methods you gonna have to do a bit of research and muck about. The thing I found to be the simplest after gaining some knowledge is Kanima's video "Cutting Order for Elixirs?... Elixir Strategy on Multiple Scenario..." lol.
There's some excel spreadsheet examples there and you can pick a route to follow unless it's gonna brick your elixir (coloured cells are the type of 'stack' or 'node' that is increasing ie. blue and purple stacks. The tick is where you click for each turn)
Anyways I'll try give a crash course, to make nice elixirs alot of people rely on the big bonuses from the sages rather than clicking on the 'best' option each time. When you click on a sage he gets a blue stack called 'order', at 3 stacks you get a special effect such as 'this advice will not consume an attempt this time' which is a free extra turn. (to get the blue special effect one has to do the same sage 3 turns in a row, if you click off of him at any point, progress will reset and it will become 1 purple stack)
Which brings me to purple 'chaos stacks'! any sage you don't click on, will get a purple stack called 'chaos' up to a maximum of 6. You will get a special effect such as 'exhaust all my power to increase an effect by -3,+4'
We call this 'burning a sage', massive potential but risky, the sage will no longer be on your screen and you will only have 2 sages to work with going forward. (in this particular scenario, it's very important to save all your rerolls for the effect sealing stage at the end, otherwise one has a high chance of bricking their elixir)
I hope it wasn't too much and hopefully something I said helps you! Best of luck, it's still a slot machine in the end o.O

@@raveturkey1996 Bro, but if I asked you a favor, let's say about elixirs... would you help me? I don't know if you'd like it, maybe I'll send you a request on Discord and with screen sharing it would be easier. Thank you so much for giving me an answer, and I'm very grateful for providing me with a lot of info on how to approach the creation of elixirs.

@@user-ii8og1xw5s I'm sorry mate I can't even stomach helping my IRL friend with his elixir rolling xd
And I'm not exactly an expert to be honest, if I was good at this I probably would have had my 40 set by now.
I'd recommend watching a video or two from different content creators to get a further understanding, and just start rolling purple elixirs and messing about.
Then you can decide on what you think is best or maybe you come up with a completely new strategy that others haven't thought of.
I think it's better to learn for oneself in the long run, because otherwise you will just copy what a person tells you and maybe they are bit 'wrong'.
In the end, it's still RNG based and 90% pure luck. Expect your elixirs to fail ALOT even if you find the 'perfect' strategy lol.
Anyways, I can try answer your questions here with what I know.
(And also if you do check out that video I was talking about, just note that those spreadsheets were made for legendary elixir, if you wanna try it with purple you have to remove one step somewhere, because purple elixir has one less attempt than legendary.
Also yeah you'll have to screenshot them to save them, there doesn't seem to be a link to the actual spreadsheets unfortunately.)

30min of yapping that amounted in "just get lucky and only drop 2 points in something you didn't want". wow.
good advice but pointless in the face of all of these rng layers. could've gone either way and that's just the way it is.
