SA players are playing NA for ages, it's SA servers are dead since a month after Brel, and a big portion of players have migrated to NA for an year+. But only when there's a tag over someones head you start to notice they are bad? Interesting. I play with 4 other friends in SA and we tend to prefer Vairgrys due to easier communication, but it's really common that we need to get an NA support or sometimes a synergy class and we experience the exact other way around: NA is zdps or 60% brand uptime. I think that the real issue is that the average solo pug player is usually not a good player and in almost all cases where you're doing confirmation bias it's because you chose to complete your party with a player from that server which is most likely a solo pug player.
The game in SA only became good when all the regional servers were merged (including the Start Server), before that it was the same as NAE currently (gk, xenophobia, distrust of whether you are a good or bad player)
I'm a player on the Vaigrys server and sometimes I get GK even on my main a 5x3+2, souleater w/ elixir and gems 10, on ALT characters I almost always get GK and as said in the video we often try to join in on our own server lobies to make content, but I believe that the game is no longer sustainable for us, Ping is unstable we need to use programs like Exitlag and Noping, our currency is not valued, i.e. if you like a skin or something in the game you pay an amount of money high for something, the server players themselves are tired of the content and many are stopping playing, I'm almost stopping I believe these are my last weeks on lost ark. With all this here I always wish everyone a good game and a good experience.
Vairgrys server was dying so the players that remained are the more passionate ones with usually ends up being the better players. So my experience so far is that the "quality" of players in NA is significantly worst that SA. Still the overall quality of players in lost ark is pretty bad. People can't figure out how to not get charmed / die on G2 P1. Most so called "50x"/ "reclear" groups get stuck on 212/138 bars.
For all the gringos saying that Vairgris are trash at playing, most of the sa players are changing from 10-80ms to a ping close to 200 that impacts your gameplay and also you have to do mecs in the Korean way using x3.x3+1, most of the players are getting used to changes to the positioning theyve been using for the last 2 years so its obvious that we are still adapting to a different culture, (Imagine na players learning how to do argos in thaemine or echidna prog with higher ms and a foreign language, probably you will be experts in that case no?). I just think that its straight racism when na lobbies gk the sa server, most of them give you poor arguments saying huh bruh 1 vairgrys guy failed the mec last week they're all trash players, people complains that the game is dying and this racism and unjustified hate is getting out of control for clearing your weekly content 😂
I understand that you guys have to work harder because you need to adjust to the new ping, clock positions, and communication in English. The problem is that this game is too grindy and you need to do 18 raids a week. If someone for SA is still adjusting and doing low damage / dying, nobody is going to wait for them to put it together, so problematic people have to be replaced fast, and by every replacement you build up negative reputation for the entire Vairgrys server that will carry forward. Also on your racism comment - you can trust me on this one - there are very VERY few people from NA who gatekeep Vairgrys players because of their geolocation, race, or nationality - it's all performance based. It's funny, but long time ago I saw screenshots from Vairgrys where some of you guys were explicitly gatekeeping the Portuguese players, whereas I have never seen a single lobby on NAE named "No Chinese" or "No Latinos" since game launch. If I had any racist in my static I would kick them long time ago - racism is unacceptable. People gatekeep based off of their personal experiences. If most Vairgrys players turned out to be a problem for someone, that person would just stop accepting them to avoid the risk just like you don't want to invite low roster players who can potentially jail you - you just play by the numbers.

My exp with vairgrys players that are pugging echidna has been decent/about as good as you’d expect from NA, aside from a notably higher rate of disconnects. It’s not their fault they’re lagging out, but it does make an inconvenience for people who are trying to squeeze all of their raids out in a few days due to a busy schedule.
I will auto deny every single player from vaigrys. It's not about racism, it's about I WANT TO FINISH MY RAID. Every time some vaigrys players fk the things up. Auto deny for me. No vaigrys.
As someone who basically pugs everything, the players gatekeeping are so out of touch. The jailing is not all 1 server, and titles mean nothing. Most players are bad, myself included. This tribalism is so toxic. It's why I actually will never rush to hard mode. I won't prejudge everyone, but most of my negative experiences have been with the ilvl of the latest raid. I've had more problems with players not saying a word than speaking another language. Uncooperative players are the problem. I've seen more people dying to greed than not understanding mechs. It's very apparent when someone doesn't know the mechs and some of the top dps dont know how fights works. The gatekeepers are the real rats.
My experience with them is horrible. The fucks keep leaving guardian raids if its all dps. In actual raids, there will be 1-2 disconnecting every gate. Every gate. The end game players are completely fine, but they just can't keep a stable connection. If you play with them you typically risk 2-3x the time needed to finish something, just due to the nature of it.

NAE has A LOT of bad players masked as good players due to how cheap gold is when your real currency isn't worth toilet paper, and there's a fuckton of RMT players in NA, that means they're usually overgeared for content that for most Vairgrys players, they just meet the required level to enter said content.(I know some lads that spent way too much time playing this and only have two characters in Thaemine N while I consistently see bad players with Rosters where the lowest geared character is around 1600). The simple way to look at it is that I've seen so many NAE players using 7-9 potions in Brel G3 N, Time Stops and whatnot in mecs where you'd not usually see a Vairgrys player use them, because it's seen as a waste of literal gold. I'm by no means among the top players in the server, I'm quite mediocre if I can say so myself(shit I still need a cheat sheet for most recent raids even after doing them 4 times or so), but I've seen countless times players with enough ilvl to be in the hard mode of a raid lose in damage to other party member with lower level gems, less elixir and whatever else you want to call it. on the topic of language barrier, honestly, EN is literally a stupid easy language to learn, yet barely a fraction of my server can understand it, let alone communicate with this shit, so yeah git good. I do agree quite a few of the Vairgrys players suck, but god some of you are stinkers too.
Im from vairgrys sv, i'm for sure 50%+ knows english. Now im not bothered by this cause, they are gonna mergue NAE sv soons probably, cause more people are leaving the game. NAE is full of overgeared lvl9+ gems only lobbys in which they 90% of the time get dumpster by event gems on cap friends. If your 1610 full event gems trying to do Thaemine you will never get accepted doesnt matter los, elixir, trasncedance, nothing. I have a 1610 slayer 40 set with full dmg 9s, all 9s cd important and full trascendance. I do not get accepted in any thaemine, not low roster 270+. Then I make my groups and I outdps all the 1620s full 10 by a large margin, yes I have the bible. NAE do mechs same as Vairgrys, sometimes you just get a bad player from either. if I have the exact same player to invite to my groups, one is from NAE one is from SA, I will take a SA player 100% of the time. I find them more reliable and doing more damage overall. People also saying oh Vairgrys do NESW, first day after merge a full Vairgrys pug is doing x3. No one ever does NESW after merge. Its pure cope. Because I made a alt before merge, the only other mech we would do different is G4 Ivory in which NAE do ww 7 stagger 5 and we would split, nothing else changes.
I gave up on any vaigrys players after a 1620 sorc with all lv 10s was doing worse than my 1585 Slayer with all lv 7s. The playerbase is too much of a toss up way too often. I get the ones that do zdps so I end up doing way too much of the workload, they fumble mechs so this hw is taking way too long in my shortening schedule, and then if you say anything to them then they "DC" so now you're jailed. Not everyone has the same experience but mine is always bad. I can handle one tot wo without expecting anything to go bad but I will not be in a lobby with 4 vaigrys players. Did that and they couldn't do akkan G2 to save their lives. Ran an Akkan with some and they kept swapping between pancea and sacred charm for the stagger mech. EVERY TIME. Half the lobby would do pancea and the other half sacred charm then proceed to do no stagger skills to boss so it was 15 minutes of straight wipes.

I'm from Vairgrys and I've been playing Lost Ark since the beta. Here's my experience so far after the server merges: I've noticed that some SA players can be impatient and short-tempered in-game. Honestly, some of our behavior can be disrespectful towards others. We tend to quit after a few tries, which is why I often prefer to run content with NA players. In my experience, they've been more respectful, even in Guardian Raids. Of course, I've encountered some NA players who've made racist remarks. While that kind of behavior is unacceptable, most of my runs with NA players have been peaceful. Due to our server's economy and lower player population, we also have some very strong SA players with high item level characters. For NA players, it's important to understand that while 90% of SA players don't speak English fluently, we can still understand the mechanics and pings, which are a universal language in games. With that being said, I agree with MisoXShiru that simply merging the SA server into NA was a mistake that's causing unnecessary tension. I think a lot of the frustration comes from language barriers in Echidna raids, but that shouldn't be a reason to kick someone. Look at titles and roster level just like you would with NA players.

Honestly the difference has been night and day since the region merges, I do raids on 10 characters and I've never seen more jails and raid stops on Akkan and Voldis in the 6-10 months they've been in the game as I have in the past 3 weeks doing it in PF with a lot of parties that had 3-4+ Vairgrys players underperforming and/or completely failing mechs. It could be bias yeah, but I'd rather not play with them. The DCing is a huge problem too, some SA countries just have terrible internet. It's not their fault in that case but it still slows my reclears down a lot.
You'll be surprise that we have better Internet than you guys... Hostly I don't think the issue is connection but that we were used to other positional formation and tags and not all people understand how NA do 3x+1 or in brel call Sq (when for is quas C), etc. We have bad, and new players as well but I dont think is the mayority. Also due to the low server population the people that are still playing are very experienced and powerfull. So imo the issue is just communication.
Vaigrys lobbies are jailge that is why. There are a few good ones but the pool is very small. They are getting gatekept because people tested them and they are doing z dps and not doing mechs. Its not just because they are SA its because they are bad at the game in general. 9 /10 Vaigrys lobbies were jail hardcore week 1 jail. Vaigris is definitively the worst server. I would happily send them over to the West.

Well vairgrys plays with 150+ms, and still get cruel, I saw a lot of NAE with titles and didn’t know a single mec, and vairgrys just carry out that guy, is like any other game, there are ppl and ppl, think about driving, if someone is bad at driving no one should be able to drive?

Vairgrys players always DC and force quit frog guardian every day if there is no support...having to regularly relobby daily content due to some bozo idiot behavior all from the same server leaves a bad taste behind
We had a 6 man static so we had to pug some people to prog Echidna last week. We had to kick multiple Vairgrys players during our G2 Echidna prog last week. I don't know what's wrong with them but they just do no damage. The amount of people even with full 10s and 40 set doing around 10 million dps is astonishing. Not only that, but they DCed quite often and due to higher ping they got hit more often, so they MCed every other pull, making it difficult to progress. The Vairgrys supports didn't communicate clock positions for blue tiles nor did they try to do the venus flytrap cheese correctly (and you could not even help them because of language barrier). Overall a major disappointment, week 1 of the merge was good for Akkan for me, but last week it was horrible. I'm pretty sure there are good players out there in SA, but very single Vairgrys pug last week was atrocious - like literally not a single once was worth keeping in the group even for longer than 5-6 pulls, and here I am talking about like a sample size of 10+ people because we had to replace people several times. I'd give it 1 or 2 more weeks to see how it goes because I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but based on what I've been reading on various discord servers, many people have similar experiences with them and more people consider gatekeeping. I don't know if it's just their ping or their average skill level is that low or I was just extremely unlucky. Time will show.
In my case, the NA people died all the time, even at the beginning and they said they had 800 ping, and I was from NA and I play at 170, I had to do everything in kayangel hard

My point is that we did not gatekeep SA people and gave them all a fair chance, but every single one of them was so bad that we are scared now to take them for reclears. It's obviously all anecdotal, but if that continues going forward (like 1-2 weeks from now) I'd have no choice but to deny them from my lobbies. No favoritism here by the way - I will be kicking bad NA players just as much - all I want is to play with competent players no matter where they come from.

I gave Vairgrys players a chance but everyone of the lobbies, with the exception of one, that had Vairgrys players were terrible experiences. Players on the floor, extremely rat, and supports that were completely garbage with there uptimes are all things I have seen from Vairgrys. Sorry but when it’s extremely consistent it’s fair to gatekeeping these players. The regional ping is no excuse either because we have a Brazilian in my guild that plays perfectly well.
At the start of the merge i didnt even think about server gatekeep, but as time goes on i turned into one of them, I gave them the chance in my lobbies over and over and over and almost always they trolled like progging or do no dmg, Vairgrys people are so bad they think their problem is their gear, all of them are so RMTED builded full 10s and all stuff and do no dmg, they just have a real skill issue, in my experience around 1/30 vairgyrs players are good players, most of them plays with their feet
I think people are also missing the language barrier that often happens. because you cant explain a mech to someone. Pings wont fix that for some of the mechs in this game

I get the ones that do zdps so I end up doing way too much of the workload, they fumble mechs so this hw is taking way too long in my shortening schedule, and then if you say anything to them then they "DC" so now you're jailed. Not everyone has the same experience but mine is always bad. I can handle one tot wo without expecting anything to go bad but I will not be in a lobby with 4 vaigrys players. Did that and they couldn't do akkan G2 to save their lives. Ran an Akkan with some and they kept swapping between pancea and sacred charm for the stagger mech. EVERY TIME. Half the lobby would do pancea and the other half sacred charm then proceed to do no stagger skills to boss so it was 15 minutes of straight wipes.

I'm from Vairgrys and I've been playing Lost Ark since the beta. Here's my experience so far after the server merges:
I've noticed that some SA players can be impatient and short-tempered in-game. Honestly, some of our behavior can be disrespectful towards others. We tend to quit after a few tries, which is why I often prefer to run content with NA players. In my experience, they've been more respectful, even in Guardian Raids.
Of course, I've encountered some NA players who've made racist remarks. While that kind of behavior is unacceptable, most of my runs with NA players have been peaceful.
Due to our server's economy and lower player population, we also have some very strong SA players with high item level characters.
For NA players, it's important to understand that while 90% of SA players don't speak English fluently, we can still understand the mechanics and pings, which are a universal language in games.
With that being said, I agree with MisoXShiru that simply merging the SA server into NA was a mistake that's causing unnecessary tension. I think a lot of the frustration comes from language barriers in Echidna raids, but that shouldn't be a reason to kick someone. Look at titles and roster level just like you would with NA players.

Honestly the difference has been night and day since the region merges, I do raids on 10 characters and I've never seen more jails and raid stops on Akkan and Voldis in the 6-10 months they've been in the game as I have in the past 3 weeks doing it in PF with a lot of parties that had 3-4+ Vairgrys players underperforming and/or completely failing mechs. It could be bias yeah, but I'd rather not play with them. The DCing is a huge problem too, some SA countries just have terrible internet. It's not their fault in that case but it still slows my reclears down a lot.
You'll be surprise that we have better Internet than you guys... Hostly I don't think the issue is connection but that we were used to other positional formation and tags and not all people understand how NA do 3x+1 or in brel call Sq (when for is quas C), etc. We have bad, and new players as well but I dont think is the mayority. Also due to the low server population the people that are still playing are very experienced and powerfull. So imo the issue is just communication.
Vaigrys lobbies are jailge that is why. There are a few good ones but the pool is very small. They are getting gatekept because people tested them and they are doing z dps and not doing mechs. Its not just because they are SA its because they are bad at the game in general. 9 /10 Vaigrys lobbies were jail hardcore week 1 jail. Vaigris is definitively the worst server. I would happily send them over to the West.
When it's one of the Vairgrys who carries it, they stay silent, but no matter who the fuck up is, they all jump at his neck.

@@aerostrafe1075 They died 2 minutes after starting the raid at the last door and they did not stop dying again and again and again, however at no time did they insult anyone, ah but if it is one of Viargrys if he dies at the end they tell him until that he was going to die, once we passed the kayangel lasers I had to continue alone, it was literally a free carry
@@chansilla It happens but I still think its happening a lot more with Vaigrys players. Someone explained to me that there are just not as many helpful/accessible tools for those players like in other servers so they might not be as good on average.
Well vairgrys plays with 150+ms, and still get cruel, I saw a lot of NAE with titles and didn’t know a single mec, and vairgrys just carry out that guy, is like any other game, there are ppl and ppl, think about driving, if someone is bad at driving no one should be able to drive?
Completely agree, people don't realize confirmation bias is a thing. Wish everyone would be more understanding instead of judging others by their server names.
Vairgrys players always DC and force quit frog guardian every day if there is no support...having to regularly relobby daily content due to some bozo idiot behavior all from the same server leaves a bad taste behind
I think vaigrys gatekeep server more than NA does.
We had a 6 man static so we had to pug some people to prog Echidna last week. We had to kick multiple Vairgrys players during our G2 Echidna prog last week. I don't know what's wrong with them but they just do no damage. The amount of people even with full 10s and 40 set doing around 10 million dps is astonishing. Not only that, but they DCed quite often and due to higher ping they got hit more often, so they MCed every other pull, making it difficult to progress. The Vairgrys supports didn't communicate clock positions for blue tiles nor did they try to do the venus flytrap cheese correctly (and you could not even help them because of language barrier). Overall a major disappointment, week 1 of the merge was good for Akkan for me, but last week it was horrible.
I'm pretty sure there are good players out there in SA, but very single Vairgrys pug last week was atrocious - like literally not a single once was worth keeping in the group even for longer than 5-6 pulls, and here I am talking about like a sample size of 10+ people because we had to replace people several times. I'd give it 1 or 2 more weeks to see how it goes because I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but based on what I've been reading on various discord servers, many people have similar experiences with them and more people consider gatekeeping. I don't know if it's just their ping or their average skill level is that low or I was just extremely unlucky. Time will show.
In my case, the NA people died all the time, even at the beginning and they said they had 800 ping, and I was from NA and I play at 170, I had to do everything in kayangel hard
@@chansilla There is a lot of bad players in NA. My point is that we did not gatekeep SA people and gave them all a fair chance, but every single one of them was so bad that we are scared now to take them for reclears. It's obviously all anecdotal, but if that continues going forward (like 1-2 weeks from now) I'd have no choice but to deny them from my lobbies. No favoritism here by the way - I will be kicking bad NA players just as much - all I want is to play with competent players no matter where they come from.
Solo pug players are usually bad players, SA have migrated to NAE for more than an year now, you just noticed it now that you can put a label on a player and closely analyse them.

I think the opposite, the NA people have a lot of resources but don't do damage and don't even know how to do mecs and Vairgrys has little resources in his character but plays 10x better, very bizarre.

But for me, AUTO DENY VAIGRYS.
I gave Vairgrys players a chance but everyone of the lobbies, with the exception of one, that had Vairgrys players were terrible experiences. Players on the floor, extremely rat, and supports that were completely garbage with there uptimes are all things I have seen from Vairgrys. Sorry but when it’s extremely consistent it’s fair to gatekeeping these players. The regional ping is no excuse either because we have a Brazilian in my guild that plays perfectly well.

In the other hand I cleared 2 thaes and 4 voldis hm with vairgrys only players this week, I always play with them no issue
At the start of the merge i didnt even think about server gatekeep, but as time goes on i turned into one of them, I gave them the chance in my lobbies over and over and over and almost always they trolled like progging or do no dmg, Vairgrys people are so bad they think their problem is their gear, all of them are so RMTED builded full 10s and all stuff and do no dmg, they just have a real skill issue, in my experience around 1/30 vairgyrs players are good players, most of them plays with their feet

I think people are also missing the language barrier that often happens. because you cant explain a mech to someone. Pings wont fix that for some of the mechs in this game
