  • If you're looking to take your loop resistance band training to the next level, then this video is for you!
    We have developed a game changing new handle for resistance bands that allows you to maximize your training options, while eliminating many of the common issues with band training.
    The custom Clench Band handle eliminates pinching, pulling, and digging into hands from resistance bands. It also spreads the bands away from your hands and limbs to make band training more comfortable.
    It also boasts 3 unique attachment points to allow you to attach your bands in a variety of ways. The innovative hooks also give you the ability to take up slack in your bands and adjust the length to best fit your exercises.

    i have your clench handles but I prefer bodylastics handles and carabiners. The handle rotates in your hand whereas your handles dont rotate and dig into your hand when using heavier bands. I would like yours more if you made the handle smoother and maybe even made it so the ends rotate freely from the center handle.Other than that you guys did a great job thinking outside of the box with these. Great quality products

    6:31 when you described how you can fine tune the length was the most helpful part for me. I don't know how others use the loop bands when you start the rep with no tension or end the rep and don't feel like you've got full tension in the band

    • @samhowl1152

      Because most people use a door anchor. With an anchor point, you can easily step away from it and create a stretch in the band. So you just walk away from it until the tension is where you want it

    I love the Clench handles and use them most every day, but they have one weakness. There are certain exercises where a rotatable handle would be very nice. Bicep curls are a good example. For exercises like these I use a handle with a nylon webbing strap.

    Very nice video. I'm glad to see that the handles can handle more than the rated 150 lbs. I know some people on the forums were hesitant to buy these because they were afraid that they would break and that 150 lbs didn't seem like much. I've had my two sets almost from when you first offered them for sale but probably don't use them as much as I should. I hate to say that I've mostly used ones like the black set you showed. I guess I need to start using yours more.

  • @CarlosBenjamin

    The issues I have with the Clench handles is that one side is open and the open side digs into my palm or my fingers depending on how I’m holding it. You should consider filling, or closing the void side. I also can’t seem to get my bands to come out evenly when trying to store them on the handles, but that’s a secondary issue to the discomfort.

    • @chrisyoung8062
      @chrisyoung8062 Před rokem

    • @ClenchFitness
      @ClenchFitness  Před 3 lety +5

      Thanks Dan! Yes we have pull these apart many times, ultimately what happens is the hooks fold up to the point where the band/strap slips off and that's usually around 350-375 lbs.

      There's a difference between discomfort in your muscles and not being able to finish your reps because of pain in your hands! It's a similar concept to using wraps to help you get more solid reps out of your heavy barbell/dumbbell training!
