- In this video we’re going to show you how to set up an effective resistance band leg extension!
In my opinion, leg extensions are one of the best exercises you can do to fully engage the quads! Typically, leg extensions are done using a machine and quite frankly, it’s challenging to execute them without one.
We’ve put together a method utilizing both a 41-inch and 13-inch resistance band that we think you’re going to like! This setup is simple and keeps the band in the optimal position throughout the range of motion.
All you need to set up this exercise is a 41-inch resistance band, 13-inch resistance band, low anchor, and a bench/chair. So basically, you can set this one up just about anywhere!

So cool to see new techniques! I will be adding them to my leg routine! KEEP ON ROCKING!
Yesssss! Thank you, and rock on!
This looks like a really good setup. Using the small band with the larger band gives a more secure attachment to the feet. Other folks have shown setups without the mini band foot attachment and these setups don't look nearly as secure.
Using the second, smaller band is clever. Good stuff.
Thank you 🙏
Saw this on a short video and was already trying it out. Thanks for deeper dive
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Great setup but you can't use a chair unless it's a very heavy one. A bench is needed otherwise you'll just be pulled back to the wall with each rep. Depends on the floor you're on too.
We've tested a chair on our gym flooring and it works well, so I agree the surface might make a difference! Worth trying if a chair is all you have!
Just found your channel - this is some great inspiration for banded workouts, thanks!
Thank you!
I really like the ankle straps
That's creative
Thanks! These honestly work quite well!
Thanks.
Thanks for watching Chris!
Great tips, tyvm!
Genius !!!!
Thanks for sharing the great idea ..
Thanks for watching!
Great info, thanks for posting. Is there a way to simulate a hack slide using resistance bands?
Is there any risk of over extention of the band if you do chest presses with the handles? (Sorry if I spelled something wrong)
Very nice. ...will i be able to build some mass with this? Thank you sir.
Hi
My knee aches like hell when I do this excercise and I'm scared to do it more..
I had my MPFL reconstruction surgery lately.
My PT told me to do this but I can't..
How long since you had surgery and how many weeks of PT have you completed?
@@ClenchFitness I'm 5 months post op
There is no physio sessions but must do excercise at home
I need that short thick mini band
