Well looks like the interior is now officially different with the rotating quarters below the cockpit.
You can see them here too or at least a few seats in the in depth tech picture that most likely change their angle aswell.
That's why I came here... Couldn't wrap my head around where they were in the ship. Unfortunately the design changed from the cross sections and I'm still just as lost.
@@waterwarrior3666 I was having trouble figuring out the same thing, you can see the window in the background, yet boba is piloting the ship in a completely different section. It hurts my brain lol
@@bluebomber875 let's wait for the newest cross section to see how the ship looks like on the inside
TheBluebomber875 yeah there’s two levels that share the same window, it’s a very large canopy window on a very large ship, it’s actual size is a lot larger than it seems
Boba fett: takes off in ship
Boba fett: remembers cargo that said ☝️this side up

You know why you came back to this video
Oh yes yes

Here from Chapter 15
George Lucas is so creative he managed to make a portable vacuum cleaner look cool
you mean flat iron? 😂
_The Dirt Devil_
andy morris are you talking about how they got inspiration from street lamps near ILM
andy morris I made the comment and then realized at the end of the video he talked about the street lamp
I thought the model makers and designers build the ships not George
It's crazy how scary of us fell in love with Boba from the original trilogy when he was just kind of a very minor character. I never thought we would have full breakdowns of his ship, all the awesomeness of the clone wars show and now the amazing Boba Fett show. All this because a bunch of 80s and 90s kids thought he looked cool lol. Love it
what i really want is a star wars theme park where i can walk through all of these ships.
In this particular ship's case, all you have to do is take all of the furniture in your house and tilt it all on its side and you will have successfully simulated what it would be like.
"About a wookie" is my new favorite form of measurement.
Wookie for scale
This should replace the banana

@MJW How many ewoks to a wookie?
The seismic charge sound is a wonderful sound and damn powerful. Trust me, I launched a few into a star destroyer in Rebel Strike and made easy work on the shield generators.
Articus Ramos
They struck me as "sonic charges" cuz of the sound given off when they explode (sounding suspiciously like a guitar riff).
Although sonics is obviously a bit tough in space.
They do make an 'excellent!' riff...
Articus Ramos ( sneaks aboard rebel station and sets sesmic charges all over it, leaves , then activates them all at once creating a drum piercing noise that destroyed all yhe glass on the station and then the sesmic wave would tear holes throughout it killing everyone in the station ) revenge for the empire
@@owynpeschke3797 damn..... you killed my damn imperial outpost! YOU FOOL!!!! They're were suppose to be on break.
it would be funny to let a guest use the toilet and then lift off while they're droppin a duke
It would be like tipping over a porta-potty while someone is in it lol
"You mean a squirtin' a Dooky while on the inner space down low!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ah, but as it's your ship, who is going to have to clean up the shit and live with the smell?
🤣🤣🤣
I have not seen a toilet...so no worries there.
Who”s here after chapter 14 of the mandalorian
Not me.
Episode 15 :)
Who here is tired of these types of comments
after Chapter 15, because of the rotating interior.
The worst episode of the series

I love how the Seismic Charges send a *horizontal circular blast* in space instead of *spherical blast* 😂
Shaped charges exist in the real world tbh, not too hard to see how the seismic charges work
Has no problem with blue seismic charges, doesn’t like the shape? Lol
Omni directional
If you sound like that nobody gives a crap if you're circular or spherical.
I thought it was kinda cool. It cuts rock in half.
Always felt like the motivation of this design was a clothes iron.
You mean no disintegration.
What'd I say?
...no incineration.
Unsubbed
@@MetaNerdzLore Frakking really? Really?
I spat my drink out in surprise
This ship just got real important again!
Yuuuup
This was always my favorite ships
Ahhh yes I love the slav...ah... Boba Fett Star Fighter
**Jengo switches to flight mode and hears loud crash** "Damn it Boba, it was your turn to do the dishes!" 🤣

One of the most badass ships in all of science-fiction
Praise Kek!
Kekistani Freedom Fighter Eh I've never been big on the design, but I respect your opinion
I'm not big on the name
-Lando Calrissian
It's a Street lamp with lasers
Yup
Every time you would land or take off your cupboards would be an absolute mess, everything in your kitchen or bedroom would be all over the floor. Pretty inconvenient design really.
Yeah I know and just random stuff you lay around the ship too. All seems unnecessary and yet it's one of my favorite
MetaNerdz Lore same, I fell in love with it after seeing it in AOTC. The sound of those repeating canons make me moist
There is kitchen? I think that crew will last on MREs and water for the duration of mission, and sleeping quarters - just a bunk behind cockpit. Thats was patrol craft after all.
maybe he uses magnets to keep his stuff at place
Also why would he destroy the other prototypes, and cause them to cancel the production. Gonna be hard to find specific parts to maintain and preform repairs with. Jango wasn't one for forward thinking it seems. lol
I remember watching the seimic charges in a cinema for the first time in Attack of the Clones back in 2002.........breath taking!
Oh man.. I was in the perfect seat for the audio too!
Definitely a memorable cinematic experience that I was lucky enough to experience..
I saw episode 1 in theaters when I was 8, and I've seen every Star wars film released in theaters since. Truly a fun time
But those seismic charges were something special
i hope the Mandalorian shows how the ship goes into flight mode without everything inside getting turned upside down lmao. imagine if you were sleeping and boba takes off....
Spoiler (minor):
They did. It rotates
@@laudaifram2301 exactly the type of scene I was hoping for. Now we know for sure bobas shit just doesn't fall all over the place when in flight mode lmao
@@joecormier8894 also I’m pretty sure the ship has artificial gravity that changes when it goes in flight mode
After reading the comments, I'm so glad I'm not the only who questioned how everything would flip over on landings and take offs
Such a iconic ship I thought it was faster then the Falcon for the fact that he bet Han to cloud city in Empire strikes back.
Jango went out like a badass making a last stand against a Jedi master who only beat him because of his shatter point force power
Boba gets hit by a blind guy with a stick and falls into a pit
Commander Cody ah he didn't die from that
After the battle he likely activated his jetpack and flew out
He actually blew himself out with a thermal detonator and Dengar found him half dead buried in the sand.
Also in the Boba Fett books the last one he tried to kill Mace Windu he did his Father's memory proud using his bare hands to kick his ass before Mace could get ahold of his lightsaber
@@naryxvellar7384 I heard he jumped into the Pit himself, after being flanked by twenty Jedi, leaving a thermal detonator behind him as a parting gift.
I can’t believe I’m nerding out on this. I’m a 55 yr old woman and naturally saw all the original 3 in the cinema. I’m impressed with how detailed the development of different ships and vehicles is fleshed out. Anyway, I like the look of this ship. The fact that it rotates and flies vertically is interesting.
Fantastic! How many years, have I waited for this gem! All of your Vids are amazing, but this happens to be a fav. 👍👍
I was wondering why everyone was saying "I think you meant no disintegration", I was confused, like yeah of course that's what he said. Everyone knows that what he says, then I listened to the end and heard my made up "no incineration" quote. That's a MetaNerdz original lol #dontrecordafter2am
MetaNerdz Lore
That's what Darth Vader said to boba in empire
XDDD
I want to see aurra sing meet again boba in a nice way
The greatest teacher failure is
I didn’t know what you were talking about until I went back and realized it myself. 😄
In one of the many expanded novels, Slave 1 was in self-orbit around Tattooine while Boba lay helpless in the Sarlaac. When 2 farmers found him,he was unrecognizable, and near death. After nursing him back to health, they found the iconic helmet and knew instantly who they'd saved, and feared for their lives. Boba, for the first time ever, showed gratitude and mercy, and even after exposing his identity,he let them live. Then he got the communication antenna on his helmet working, and signaled for Slave 1 to enter the atmosphere and pick him up on the surface of Tattooine. Why can't we get Star Wars movies like this!!!?
Like this is the one time that Boba Fett showed mercy and gratitude to those who saved his life. What a true chad.
Y’all know why I’m here.
I'm here JUST because i absolutely frikkin love Boba Fett.
I always wondered about how repulsorlift vehicles and other things such Cloud City itself never need to come to rest on the ground ever. You would think that when Luke Skywalker wasn't driving his landspeeder around Tatooine it would sit on the ground. And what if there's ever a blackout on Cloud city? Would it ever fall into Bespin?
Maybe but Murphy's law says that whatever can go wrong, WILL go wrong so there would have to be some kind instance that it would fail. Every other film, tv show or other that features flying/floating city sized objects have had them fail at one point or other. The SHIELD helicarrier was almost destroyed in the first Avengers movie and three of them were destroyed in Captian America: The Winter Soldier. In the movie Sky High (a 2005 Disney movie), a floating high school fell from the sky when its power supply was sabotaged. It Has to happen sometimes
dragonweyr44 1st off you just need to feed the lifts constant power and cloud city can do that
BUT the potential for power loss, whether partial or total is highly probable. In such a case, the potential for Cloud City to fall out the sky is still there. I'm pretty sure that when the world devastators are destroyed, they don't stay in the air. So by accident, sabotage or attack it MUST fail sooner or later
I think they have some type of non powered magnetic back-up. That would be for most landspeeders and swoop bikes. Kinda like a + magnet side repels another + side.
Perhaps, but what happens if the speeder needs serviced? do you have to work on a floating vehicle? If you push on it too hard while doing so, would it just float away? How do repulsorlifts work?
Of course this was recommended to me today.
Mando Gang
Slave I is a ship that my parents always called the flying flatiron.
Did Luke EVER get to Toshi station to Pick up those damnable power converters?
dragonweyr44 no
I ask because every week during the run of Star Wars Rebels, I heard that line during the commercial breaks about 8 times an episode
We may never know!
They had to be placed on back order from what I heard!!????
nope jawas stole them all
Just came here after watching the latest Mandalorian episode.
Of all the ships I have seen in the Star Wars universe, Slave 1 have always been my favorite
These breakdown videos are awesome.
Thanks for making this, Slave I has always been my personal favorite for the uniqueness and functionality. Can you also do a video on Jaster's Legacy in the future.
this is by far one of the coolest ships imo
Glorious. Just glorious. Well done old chap.
I’ve been looking forward to this.
I just love your fact's about legends!
That's "No disintegrations".
Plus, there's little doubt that the Yuuzhan Vong found Boba Fett a worthy adversary.
William Norton bruh ( grabs ee-3 and aims it at his knee shooting a bust )

And finally his head )
Legends Boba Fett: John Wick but in space
Canon Boba Fett: He’s Just standing there, menacingly!
Beautiful art work
I absolutely love those comparisons! XD One Wookie bigger than an ARC_170
Super informative!
As far as internal configuration goes, I think I prefer the layout from the original ICS book, which makes it look like the ship's gravity would always be in the same direction as the thrust vector. It probably doesn't make the best use of internal space, but I've got lot a lot of love for interesting and novel choices like that.
This was awesome! Have you guys done a review on the Slave 2 and 3? Wow! Thanks for this.
New favorite channel! Thank you for posting this in the BH-SWGoH-Discord Channel! :D
Awesome video! Thank you. 😎👍
Thanks for making this, I just love Star Trek and Buba Frett is my favorite character.
Boba fett: appears in the mandalorian
This video from two years ago: appears in everyone’s recommended
Until I saw this video and the Star Wars Spacedock video on the Slave 1 I didn't even know it was built by the same people who built the Venator Class and the Imperial 1 and Imperial 2 Class Star Destroyers and the Executor Class Super Star Destroyer.
This ship always looked like an old iron to me.
Wow that's deep. Love the manufacturing back story.
thanks for the facts :D
Cool info, thanks
Newly relevant video
Please do the braha'tok gunship, its the ship that you briefly see in the Battle of Endor
"She's called Slave 1"
Looks like a 'Hand-held Electric Detail Sander'. Nice video.
I will never forget: “It was about a Wookie wider…” lol
Dang, this ship is decked out! I've always admired this ship.
I had the poster from the thumbnail. Loved it.
Very interesting build
At 6:02 there appears to be a tri force symbol on the station near the center of the screen.
Star Wars technology is amazing, not only you could travel from Planet to Planet and at light speed but they figured out how to have sound in space. Especially during battles. Pretty cool huh!!
You are a true nerd, that was awesome!
sooooo that new ep. of the mandalorian am i right
i would have owned that if i lived in that galaxy
Imagine Boba setting up his gaming pc and then forgetting to secure it before takeoff
I find it hard to believe that Hondo was able to salvage the Slave 1 after Aura Sing's crash, the explosion was huge! Must've been made almost entirely of new parts.
I think after last week's Mandalorian episode you need to update this video now
7:15 The profile of the light post outside ILM Studios sure does look a lot like Slave 1.
Yep pretty sure George himself said that was the origin of the design. I've heard that rumor since the early 90's. It's just too coincidental not to be.
I've been a fan of star wars for yrs scince I saw it when I was 6 yrs old , I'm 48 and I have never heard anything different about its design ..he says based of a radar dish ? WTF ? It totally looks like the street lights outside ILM ..the artist looked out the window and was inspired by the street lights ..it even says it in a book ...how on the fuck does it look like ant radar dish ? ..it has a radar dish on the back ...but that's all ..it looks so much like those street lamps , the fuck out of here with thst shit !!!!
Very Iconic bounty hunter starship.
Slave I was the ship I used when I played Star Wars with my brothers.
Hope ya do a video on the RazorCrest
I used to have the toy and sold it along with everything else. Like everything fett it's so cool. Wish I still had ot along with the 12inch version of boba
Loved going in this in Star Wars Bounty Hunter. The ps2 game
I never knew there was information on all Star Wars stuff right down to the very last spark plug!
Masterpiece ❤
Gret video, but could you make more vids on star wars species?
I’m still so confuse on how this ship works like when it lands does everything go into position and when it flies does it do that too?
I think when it lands, the pilot's seat
sits one horizontal plane so they could easily get out of it and do what they need to do
@@nolankirchen3395 The cockpit deck platform as far as we know from the movies and latest Episode of the Mandalorian is stetic and always in the vertical flight mode. Only the lower deck for passengers rotates with the wings/angle of the Slave 1 when going into flight position.
There is a yellow ladder integrated across the entire ship, which can be seen as the lower compartment rotated. Because in space there's no up and down, you have gravity generators, so no matter in what angle you are or technically over head it doesn't matter to you.
HALLELUJAH THEY HATH RETURNED!!!
i love how he used a wookie for reference 0:42
That Bounty Droid is in episode 5 as well! I just saw him in Mandalorian
This is my favorite ship in star wars
A Slave 1, made of tin and plastic (mostly tin, just the canopy and the swiveling wings were made of plastic), was one of the first toys I remember getting, back when I was a toddler in the 80s. I was still sleeping in a crib at the time and had no idea what that thing was or what Star Wars was, hehe. I didn't even understand what was the front and what was the back. I saw the little man seemingly laying on his back in the cockpit, but wasn't sure whether that meant the ship would fly in the direction he was looking. Only when I watched "The Empire Strikes Back" for the first time, years later, I learned that it was a Star Wars space ship and how it was supposed to be flying.
Now i want to recreate this in space engineers
Do you think you could do a vs on all the character ships from Old Republic?
There is more to it than I thought.
Please do a video on the Jaster's Legacy, the ship Jango Fett originally owned before its destruction during a mission on Oovo IV (4).
Vader : "There's a burning ban on , so after you've got all the leaves raked up, Fett , remember that you can't dispose of them in the incinerator. Bag them up and take them off planet in Slave 1.... and remember, no incinerations!
Fett : As you wish.
I really love this ship ❤️😍👌🏼
