    Best thing ever if you run in the rocks and are prone to pinch flats. Prior to Tubliss I was getting several pinch flats a year running 9 psi, since using Tubliss I've only had 1 flat in 3 years and that was a puncture that I was able to plug on the trail and finish the ride. I'm now running 5 - 6 psi and the traction is insane. Game changer for me.

    Best idea since sliced bread! 15 tires and still going strong.

    Please do a system for the 17" wheel. If in fear of being used on road just do a disclaimer of it being off-road use only. Some of us guys use our bike for serious off-road and could benefit from your system for traction. Please consider the 17". What paths can us guys take to influence you on this discussion. A sign up to see interest? Please let me know.

    been running it since it came out here in rocky colorado on numerous bikes and wouldn't go back to tubes! well worth it! I even run them on the street on my duel sport.

    I rode my tubliss with a flat rear tire and the tube wore through the red outer part and was down to the cords. It's destroyed.

    does the lower tire pressure increase wear?

  • @Speedytrip

    Could this work for road use as well? I could see this doing well on DR650s...there's barely any tubeless options out there.

    • @enb3810
      @enb3810 Před 2 lety

      I'm ordering 2 for my klr. I would assume standard caveats apply - low pressure reduces the life of the tire on the asphalt and the handling may become unpredictable.

      @@enb3810 seems like on the highway these melt nearly instantly they are really for offroad use only.

    With all do respect I don't think you are correct for a couple of reasons. One is the fact that tubliss now recommends 3 full wraps of the tape around the wheel with what effectively is mtb "tubeless" tape. There would be no point to this whatsoever other then sealing air. Second the "low pressure" air valve interrupts your referred seal by having a "conduct" channeling the air through this area. The high pressure bladder probably does an ok job at sealing this but I suspect it's not perfect in most cases given the variability of conditions (each tire and wheel combo os different).
