I can confirm what he said about US not manufacturing gears in USA ,i worked for a small workshop here in South Africa which was making gears for some USA military company , i was shocked .

I’m a gear installer and have been doing it for 35 years and I used to rely on US gears until all I saw was a box with your name and a cheap Chinese gear in the box.

And you could tell that someone didn't swap out a set for the set that was in the box?
I've seen this dirty trick twice... That kind of 💩 is evil. Especially when you're buying car parts and you bought the quality stuff, yet the box has the junk you didn't want inside.

Too bad they do not make Olds/Pontiac 9.3" gears of various ratios. Seems they only go after the highest produced, not interested in coverage.
