Too bad they do not make Olds/Pontiac 9.3" gears of various ratios. Seems they only go after the highest produced, not interested in coverage.

But the bearings that came on my moser axles with my new 12 bolt were made in china.

I can confirm what he said about US not manufacturing gears in USA ,i worked for a small workshop here in South Africa which was making gears for some USA military company , i was shocked .

I need a ring and pinyon set for Ford 9” in 3.73 please in the lightning stealth, I don’t want to buy China or India gears

So nothing mentioned about looking at number scribed on pinion and using that information about setting pinion depth? Nothing shown about adding 1/8 inch spacer before putting bearing on? How to set bearing preload on pinion adding and removing shims, and using dial indicator? Why even bother with a video like this if you can't do it right? I buy all my stuff from Strange, but I do hate poor videos.

Lets throw some shims in there just because we can. Just grab a few and put em under a pinion bearing because that's what the other guy does. STUPID!

How long does it take to replace the gear and piñon my Jeep broke into on the 1st pass of our new 9” setup? Sounds crazy but it happened. Just want to know turn around time so I can drive my WK1 SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee again? We tried a 3.07 but are switching back to 3.73. Highly unusual to break I imagine

I’m a gear installer and have been doing it for 35 years and I used to rely on US gears until all I saw was a box with your name and a cheap Chinese gear in the box.

Appreciate the information but what is with the stupid music? That music is so annoying that I gave up on this video. It seems almost everybody thinks they need some music while the host or announcer is speaking! That is ridiculous!
