I just love Camper. When he's not napping, he is paying attention to everything.
camper was paying attention to that crab chowder camper definitely wanted some of that chowder his tongue was flapping . i bet if he had some of that chowder he would have been a happy camper
I've lived in Oregon for nearly 20 years and I have to say that Travel Oregon should be paying you for this wonderful 22-minute advertisement. Well done Nikki!
Thank you! Big hugs!
Your lover.. u are scary
Me too - I never really enjoyed the coast much, but you make it look inviting 😊
@your loverحبي the quaran is as stupid as the bible. 👍🏼
Keep it to yourself, nut bag.
Also… seek help. You need it.
Wow.. I never thought I’d say this of the US, but you’re very lucky to live where you are. I never had much of an interest to go to America, but the coast there, and the weather and rainy vibes and trees is exactly what I love. If I was to make an effort to go to the US I’d visit here way above all the tourist places like LA or Vegas or NY or whatever 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Huge respect coming from a native Oregonian. I appreciate anyone who cleans up these beautiful beaches and helps to preserve them for future generations. cheers!
She made more plastictrash with her plasticglove than pick up from the beach
what a nice view in the thumbnail, the landscape is pretty cool too
Love the way that Camper quickly adapts to anything. It's like he's been in the DELVINTHALER his whole life. I guess the amount of love you have for each other , makes it a little easier. Safe travels to you both.
He has adapted to his new home so quickly! In fact, today a very similar looking sprinter drove by and he started barking and went to go chase after it as if someone was taking out home! So funny!
I'd bet the farm that the dogs but smells better than the inside of the Van does. JMO
@@username22 that looks like a million dollar van to me. Probably smells great!
She made more plastictrash with her plsticglove tan pick up trash...
My grandfather was a senior master chief in the coast guard, he was at one point in time posted at heceta head lighthouse where he held full operational duties for like 3 years, the roses my grandmother planted around the house still grow strong today. Our family knows every square inch of the Oregon coast from Astoria and fort Stevens to gold beach, thanks for sharing and caring.
What is your favorite beach?🐞
I finally went down the Oregon coast a couple of years ago. I will never forget it, I found it just an amazing place in this world.
Oregonian here, good to see you running around exploring the wonderful coastline that I know and love!
What a blast of great memories! The Central Oregon Coast was my favorite! Even after spending months in Fiji, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and California, Oregon always is very welcoming, tasty, and comfortable.
So glad you are enjoying my favorite part of Oregon! There's truly something for everyone on the Oregon Coast. Thanks for being an excellent steward of the environment!
I absolutely love your adventures. The places you go are so beautiful and I can see why you like to return to them. Camper is adorable.
❤❤❤❤
Awwh Camper is looking so happy these days, also I love how you're in a 4x4 now! I can't believe how much more space you got! Your bed is huge! I remember watching some of your first videos and it is so cool to see how far you've come along ☺ what a gorgeous coast and I love that morning fog as well.
This is my favorite Delventhal! Incredible coastline vistas throughout, Camper never having to be on leash and getting to chase whales in a fountain, great seafood, Nikki bringing attention to how to help stop land pollution. So glad you're not leaving Oregon yet.
Thank you! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oregon, always something new to explore at every turn! =)
AHHHH HE WAS ON A LEASH WHEN HE JUMPED INTO THE FOUNTAIN… HELLO!
შენზე ლამაზი ქალი მყავს
მაგრამ ვეღარ ვკერავ !
Great coastal tour of Oregon Nikki! I especially loved that you made an effort to clean up the beach and bring focus to the wider plastic pollution problem. On another note, from one rock hound to another, those were some beautiful stones you found! 🫶 Thanks for sharing! Safe travels!🐕🥾🚶♀🚐🗻🌄
Thank you!!!!
That was really cool, I was just out visiting my sister in Oakridge and drove up the coast. We stayed in Yachats and had a meal at Luna Sea, where my dog Tater who looks similar to Camper gave an unsuspecting diner a wet willy while she was eating. Back in Lake Lure NC now wishing I was back in Oregon
Awesome video. My aunt owned Rock Park Cottages right there on the cliffs in Yachats. Next to the national park turn around. On the 4th of july they are right under where the fireworks are set off at the park. Best time ever.
Camper is living his best life.
Camper is a good boy too.
In a camper :)
So are those purple pants..
@@JP-dz7zu😂😂
Awww, the pure joy of watching camper interact with you on the beach just melted my heart. What a Great travel partner. ❤️
Thanks for sharing views of the Oregon Coast. We have driven the coast of Oregon and Washington checking out the lighthouses. The scenery is incredible! Living on the Gulf of Mexico in Texas it is such a mind blowing change looking at the Oregon Coast. We also went to the smallest harbor. Travel safe…Fred in Texas. PS: Love your puppy dog!
she has that positive energy that i love and it makes me love her videos.
U mean the leggings?
@@GoudaTheCavalieryes sir you are spot on.
i only watch her videos because of that PHAT ASS
Shes so annoyingly happy cause she gets all you nubes to believe this is who she is. She smart though… I can only give her credit for tricking all you lame asses. If she was 300 pounds with this personality she wouldn’t make videos.
We discovered your channel a week ago, and have been binge watching all your past videos. Your videos are so interesting, personal, and filled with variety, that we'll be along for the ride as long as you keep doing this. Thanks much!
Thank you!!!!
I wish I had a fat dumper so people would tell me how interesting and filled with variety my hobbies are
Hi Nikki...Let me start with... Thank you. Thanks for sharing a piece of
your life, Nikki. A really nice, enjoyable video or should I say a "mini movie".
That's what it felt like. Off the beaten path adventures!?. The best kind!
I can see Oregon truly brings out the storyteller/writer in you, Nikki. Your
impressions and the way you describe the coast are so spot on.
There is something about the water that speaks to some people. Any body
of water. The lights coming off of it, the smell, the spray, sound of the waves.
The ocean can be calm and peaceful one minute then the next moment angry.
I also admire your appreciation of it. A lesson for us all, to respect the oceans.
And thanks for letting us in on one of your passions Nikki. Your enthusiasm
of rock hunting/collecting is contagious. And Thanks for the ride!
Take Care Nikki.. Steve..
Stayed at WorldMark Resorts at Depot Bay last year and saw lots of Whales. Did some nice hiking. If you want to sea the Seals at the Seal Caves it's best to wait until January though. Lots of nice beaches along the Oregon Coast.
Um... you're one brave woman. PLEASE PLEASE - Be safe! - You're giving me, and my memories, a review. - I hiked the Cali coast a lot of decades ago... how pathetically sad Cali has become, and the coast in general... but you inspire and give some hope back to me. -
Best to you and Camper. - Aesir -
Too much love for Camper he’s so funny jumped in the fountain, he’s too much I want him ❤💋🐶
Amazing Camper Travel❣️👍😍❤️❤️❤️🌹💪🥰
I think he is an awesome dog too, and I've known many. I don't want him though he is definitely born to be by Nicole's side protecting her, it's scary out on the road! I'd worry for her if he wasn't there.
Been visiting the Oregon coast for years and you are right Nikki it never gets old. Safe travels! Love from BC ❤️ Canada 🇨🇦.
Spent decades in 1 of 6 Roadtrek vans traveling US & Canada (not full-time), but full-time winters in AZ except when foreign traveling. It is a great lifestyle, applaud your initiative and wish Web Income good luck efforts. Note: 5 years ago camped alongside Hiwy 1 outside of Tillamook for 3 nights. Last night woke in a lake, van was destroyed . Very traumatic. Stay on high ground. Ironically, many warning signs south of Tillamook. 😃
I lived in Newport for a few years I miss it so much Oregon is such a beautiful place
I like how camper sits back and enjoys the scenery….😎
As someone that lives on the Oregon Coast thankyou for picking up plastic. We always appreciate volunteers helping clean up where we call home.
"we"?
We as in Oregon residents @@gulanhem9495 .
Hey! The Dizzy Hen is awesome! One of my perks of living in Philomath lolol. I've taken the drive you show us within the video dozens of times and it NEVER gets old! Thanks for the great video! :)
I just went to Michigan and my kid and wife love it ! We didn’t want to leave the the free beach by the state park ! But we had to leave since we live in Wisconsin!!!! Thank you for this video !
So glad I live in Oregon and get to see these places on a regular basis. Thanks for doing the coast right ND! Peace!
You are an absolutely amazing young woman! As a woman in her 60’s you inspire me to step out of my comfort zone!
Why are you 40 living with a dog ? LOL Peak Weimerica Clown World
I drove the entire Pacific Coast drive a few years ago - this brings back some memories 👍
The Oregon Coast is a magical and romantic place for me. Not to mention nostalgic. I love the movie Goonies.
The California to Oregon coast line is so beautiful. What a wonderful trip. That was so funny seeing Camper jump into the fountain.
I have a weekend at the Oregon coast next weekend! I can’t wait.
hope the van is feeling much better for you.. van life friend Amanda was doing Oregon coast around the same time..
i was doing it in my subaru outback as well but never full-timed it.. but yes to test out of if i really would commit to living in a shoebox.. so that you are grateful for it every day :)
I’ve been to 45 states and 3 provinces of Canada driving a truck.prettiest thing I ever saw was in Sisters Oregon looked up into the mountains and it was snowing and you could see lightening. Kinda of a mind screw but beautiful. I’m a Mich boy…..I also think I heard John Denver singing Rocky Mtn. High I think😂😂
I really do love seeing footage of the Oregon coast. It's easily my favorite thing about living in Oregon. I don't get to visit it as much as I like.
I've driven the entire Pacific coast highway from LA to the northwesternmost point of the Olympic Penninsula and my favorite part is from just north of San Francisco to Astoria. Some parts are rocky and rugged while others are endless sand dunes but it's all very wild and spectacular and I hope it always stays that way. The Washington portion is also quite nice but most of it is inland and misses the coast.
Drove that portion of the Coast back in 1991 in a red VW diesel Rabbit on the way to San Diego from Vancouver Island. When I saw the Manson built rock barrier wall on the highway cliff edge, I thought that the Sea lion caves must near by and in the next frame there was the sign. Surprised you did not check it out. Camped somewhere near Newport at a State park and had to listen to a couple having an all out battle Asked my wife if she remembered that and she said " oh ,you mean George and Penny!" It was nuts. It costed us 45 usd in fuel from Vancouver to San Diego in those Days. Happy Motoring!
I ran Amtrak trains in Oregon. Portland to Klamath Falls, Portland to Pasco Washington. We lived in Beaverton. You should see Oregon by train.
Where in oregon is a good first place to start out living at with children as a single parent on the coast?? Want to move out there soo bad. I hate fl. It is too hot down here and they do not help with child support
I love Camper.He's such a character !!!
I live in Beaverton, grew up in Oregon and love that you get to experience our wonderful state. If you haven't been to Bandon for Circles in the Sand," you ought to go. We live on 23 acres and have plenty of room if you ever need a place to park for the night. You're always welcome.
My husband and I have lived in a 5th wheel for the last 4 years. The farm we are parked on belongs to our son and his family. Stop by sometime, we'll take your horseback riding and kayaking on the Tualatin River right by us.
Is this real?
The Sea Hag, The Chowder Bowl in Depoe Bay are really good and Moe's in Lincoln City is also amazing just got back from Seaside, OR a few weeks ago had a great time was there for a week.
Thanks for the vid - my in laws go to Depot Bay a couple times a year, absolutely love it over there. Astoria/Seaside/Cannon Beach is also super nice.
Covered in Poison oak you still present such a positive outlook and enjoyment of life that is contagious to us all. I love to get the notice that a new Nikki adventure is waiting for me. Keep on keeping on :)
WoW ! Beautiful scenery from Oregon Nikki, thanks for taking us. It looks like an outdoor paradise with different views and climate, enjoy yourself, i know I would. 🥰🐾✌
It’s wonderful that Camper is allowed to run free on the beach. Great video.
Watching these adventures is so fun! Camper is enchanting, but I was not happy looking in the eyes of that poor doomed crab. I know he tastes good, but he wasn't food yet. He was a living creature that probably didn't want to be dinner.
Nikki, your travel/camping videos are so beautiful, informative, and heartwarming! Camper is such an amazing dog and it is clearly apparent how much he appreciates having you, and vice versa! I remember how the two of you first met (him being a stray on a trail) and it does not take a rocket scientist to understand out why the bond between you two is so strong. I lived in Seattle for 18 years (I now live in San Diego) and the Oregon Coast was my favorite getaway destination on long weekends! One thing I definitely miss down here is the Pacific Northwest sourdough bread and the chowder! Happy trails to both of you wonderful "people"!!!
Just watched a couple of your videos and i like them. Love Camper too. You are in my neck of the woods, the southern Oregon coast is great. Safe travels and be safe have fun.
I enjoy see you, and Camper having so much traveling an seeing different places keep enjoying life you and Camper be safe.
Nikki, love how down to earth and real you are. Glad to see you and your boy having fun. Stay aware, and thanks for taking us for the ride.
Thank you and thanks for coming along for the adventure!
As a former Northern Californian who spent decades traveling the Oregon coast, I approve this video! Your content is professional and beautifully done!
The dog jumping in water got me xD Nearly spilled my coffee.
So in love. Ur channel just makes me relax. Even though I will never be able to travel around like you do it makes me feel as if I'm at every stop u take. Enjoy and be safe
Camper’s “thoughts” had me in stitches!!!! A N D him finding the “whale”. 😂😂😂. Terrific episode, Nikki! Stay safe and travel on 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Nikki- the poison oak brought back fond memories; I went to school at U of Oregon/Eugene, mid-70's. They had a run called the Torture Ridge Run back then....between two bluffs in town, across a creek, thru heavy woods, etc. That night- after a shower, at a Mexican restaurant w/ other runners, started itching. Next day....I'm swollen all over, and arms/legs covered. Next day I'm in ER, intubated, blind, etc. The following day....a team of doctors from Portland arrived, all specialists: photographs were taken, oral histories, etc. And that time it was THE worst case they had (apparently) seen. I'm literally in medical books. The situation scared me so much that I gave up (any) bushwacking, heavy woods, etc.- and took up mountain climbing. Rock. And I haven't had poison oak, ivy, or sumac since. ps: Unlike most toxic exposures and resistance build up w/ exposure, Poison Ivy/Oak DOES NOT work that way- Repeated exposures INCREASE sensitivity.
@Tommy - interesting story, glad you recovered. Also cool that you lived in Eugene during the days of Prefontaine - Eugene’s heyday.
Your energy is infectious and Camper lifts you up!
I am so happy for you. You have an amazing life. I love your dog, Camper, too. He is great.
The Oregon coast is one of my favorite places ever! My goal is to go back and live in Oregon again. Great video. Thank Nikki and Camper!
I have never been to Oregon, but would love to go ..it’s beautiful! I love your videos, and love the absolute adorable happy Camper, he is such a beautiful a happy dog and it warms my heart!
Oregon is where days gone were set? Terrific!
I really enjoyed your video and will look for more. I travel in a small born free with my 16 yo husky and soon to be 10 yo pitadore and so of course I love Camper, a true delight and that say a lot about you; good dog, good owner. I'll be on the Oregon cost all summer and would be great to meet up with you. Cheers.
The more i watch your channel...the more i love it!!!
You are somewhat addicting ❤️ love the Oregon coastline
( Born& raised on the California coastline) The two of you are fun to watch !! Enjoy your trip
Happy Trails to you 🎶🎶
Camper is such an awesome pup. ❤
Just moved to central Oregon last year. Have yet to hit the coast. You’ve inspired me to check it out.
Living in the UK its so nice to see you part of the world.
As an Oregonian..I approve this video!
Learned not to litter at a young age as well as clean up after those messes left behind. You rock, Nikki. Small environmental foot prints. Yay!
Nice video... nice companion... nice van... nice YOU ! Having lived for 5 years in the Depoe Bay and Newport area from 2006 to 2011 . . . I was able to the entire Oregon Coast about 4 or 5 times.
Next time you are down that way... be sure to try some Fish & Chips at "Gracies" in Depoe Bay... and some shrimp or crab cocktail at Barnacle Bill's sidewalk fish outlet in Lincoln City.
Thanks for sharing your special adventure ... you brought back lotsa great memories of that great coastline ! 😀👍
I ask for your prayers and healing vibes as I continue to face health challenges. Thank you for your support.
And that's why I call Oregon home.👍
Oregon is so beautiful. You did a great job showing it off.
I'm loving your videos, enchanted by so much beauty wherever you go, thank you for providing us with happy moments. I watch you here from Brazil.🥰😘
I am also inspired by the way you're living... I feel like it may be the lifestyle I live before my retirement goals 😅 KEEP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE AND BE HAPPY ❤
Your videos always make my day. I’m sure it’s quite draining a lot of the time, but, seriously, thanks for what you do.
I'm really happy you and camper having fun 💕 🐕⚘
What a beauty of Oregon ❤
I’ve been on the Oregon coast for most of my 56 years. You showcase it beautifully. FYI the emphasis is on the “Dee” of Depot Bay. :)
Depoe pronounced like Depot, as you know 👌
Nikki, you and Camper always have a good time. Camper is a stick lover. I guess depending where you are, you dress comfortably for the area. With your camper, you can pull off and change clothing and get right back on the highway. So cool. If I owned a camper and traveled, you would find me in a T-shirt,comfy shorts(commando) especially. Nothing binding is the way to go.
Hola!! soy nuevo viendo tus videos, llevo 45 segundos viendo tus videos y me encanta la energía que trasmites en los 45 segundos que llevo viéndote, me apareció tu video recomendado por CZcams, me gusta "VanLife" saludos!
Well done Nikki, particularly seeing as you probably ran the beach and the terrain a few times over to "film" for our watching enjoyment and say hello to Camper.
Love Camper he is having a great life Thank you Nikki PS we like you too Nikki
I loved working in Oregon and living across the bridge in Washington. The scenery is beautiful and the people are so nice. I’m with you, the seafood is the best anywhere! Thank you for bringing awareness to plastics on the beaches and thank you for sharing camper with us!
You know, a lot of people pay a lot of money to swim with the dolphins… Just saying!
💞🐬💞
Have you ever made your way up to the BC Coast in Summer?!?! Soooo beautiful, most particularly, the west coast of Vancouver Island!! 🏝🏝 Mystic Beach, San Juan, Ucluelet, Tofino, etc. Oregon reminds me a lot of BC!
I lived in Oregon for 30 years but never stumbled on Novellas. I’ll have to go there next time I’m at the coast
I loved this episode and the way you used your platform to educate people on plastic and micro plastic. A very important topic and something we all can have input on. Micro plastic is a huge problem. 😔
It's a beautiful place Nikki I used to live there for 6 months it was great good choice 👍 ❤ 🐕⚘
I’m heading out there again and I never knew about the clam chowder shop. I’m definitely stopping in there this week. Thank you.
Say hi to the guys there for me! =) ITS SO GOOD!
LoL love how at the end you said "we found a squatter" 😂🤣😂🤣
Safety message from a biker and traveler. Travel the West Coast from North to south so you don't need to cross traffic getting to all the pull-outs and parking areas. This is safer on all coasts, keep the water on your side and be safe 👍
Every Friday morning I see this I know it’s Friday, and I feel the freedom of the van life
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing all this. So cool! 💝
Me and my kids are trying the bread bowl crab chowder in minutes! So excited!!!
Beautiful! I have never been to Oregon…but every time I see pictures/ videos I am in awe of its rugged/ stunning beauty! Van life is my retirement dream and Oregon is the first place I want to visit( I live in Canada right now). Thank you Nikki and Camper for an amazing video!!!❤
Thats the way life suppose to live. Follow that road to happiness!!!!
