In the book TNG: Dark Mirror, Klingons were slaves and the prime Enterprise crew were able to gain Worf's trust by telling him that Klingons in the prime universe were proud and fierce warriors and an important ally to the Federation. But the mirror Spock was executed for treason and Sarek was assassinated so the Empire went on as usual. The Empire became so large and powerful that there were no more worlds for it to conquer so they were going to cross to the prime universe and conquer that. It's a really good book.

Um. Georieou said shew was NOT going back to that universe. The Guardians merely said he'd return her to an earlier time, NOT the "Mirror" Universe (since there are countless parallel universes, according to Povich). . Since Section 31 is still in the books, I'm thinking y'all missed that one in the narration at the end. I'm not sure how that got overlooked.

You're exactly right. Georgiou was NOT sent back to the Mirror universe but probably back to the timeframe Discovery left and hooked up with Section 31 some how. I heard that Michele Yeoh's series is a go and we'll see what happens next.
Mirror universe, Lieutenant Commander T'Pol is my #1 and always will be.

Don't forget IDW's Picard Mirror comic. It's well put-together and makes sense in the lore.
Mostly agree with yours list but I would give honorable mention to mirror Sulu for his plan to eliminate Kirk and Spock and take over. Too bad about that Tantalus field device.
I liked mirror Sulu in star trek continues, but I'm not sure we're allowed to bring that up
My favourite was Dr. Phlox. The compassionate doctor turned Joseph Mengele. Yet was still chipper and enjoyed his work
Totally agree with Georgiou as #1, but I think Spock needs to be higher on that list.
Considering who the top two were, I don't see how he could possibly get any higher unless we started involving decimals. There's simply no MU characters better than Emperor Georgiou and Intendant Kira.

Obviously I don't know for sure, but I believe Emperor Philippa Georgiou is going to stay in the prime universe with Ash Tyler in the Section 31 show they say is still coming.
Spock should be number one. While Philippa is more developed, Mirror Spock has had more influence outside Star Trek. He's the reason everyone knows evil wears a goatee.
I would love to see Mirror Universe Tribbles.

I have to admit that DS9 wore out the mirror universe theme after a few seasons.
Only the first one ("Crossover"; S2) is on par with "Mirror, Mirror", IMHO.
It was WAY too easy for going back and forth between the two universes.
@@GoGreen1977 "...Too easy..." and too gratuitous, for Jennifer Sisko need not have been killed _twice_ . Aside from Crossover, Resurrection (season 6) even seems to try to do something new with the Mirror Universe.

The Enterprise do was not a crossover. Nobody from our universe went over at that time.

12:52 the Guardian didn't send her back to the Mirror universe, he clearly tells her he's sending her back to a point when the Prime and Mirror universe were still next to each other, she's still in the Prime universe and will take over Section 31 for whatever year that show is dropped in

A nice depiction. I'd Love to see what would happen WITH Hoshie on Enterprise. She's More Intelligent Than Most Realized In Any Universe. She realizes most RACES Attitudes almost Instantly &Learns Quickly. .
Mistakes made in this video:
The defiant was used after Terrok Nor was already taken by the Terran Rebellion in fact they built it at Terok Nor. It subsequently was used through help of prime Captain Sisko to take on the Klingon Regent & his fleet damaging the regents ship forcing a withdrawal.
Spock already learned of the Tantalus field prior to the prime Kirk leaving the Mirror Universe.
Kirk didn't plead with the Terrans to change their ways he pointed out to Mirror Spock the illogic of his position in supporting the empire in favour of a better alternative.
Rom didn't sabotage the tech prior it was given to the regent he sabotaged the tech when the Klingon had difficulty installing it & got him to install it.
BAH! The mirror universe only lacked cloaking in the episode with Zek. Hell, that's how they captured Sisko and Smiley when they were trying to infiltrate Terak Nor. Both cloaking Klingon and Cardassian ships.

Yes, but it's not given with the German letter "ä"... It's doppelganger. English has many German loan words... such as angst (fear in a Freudian way), dreck, schnitzel, poltergeist, zeitgeist or kindergarden...

Ok so I have seen several videos talking about Zek being traded for a cloaking device which they didn't have available. I have yet to see anyone point out this is not true the writers apparently forgot season 3 episode 19 where Sisko and Smiley are captured by ships decloaking around them.

The Intendant should have been #1. Hedonistic, totally ruthless, willing to side with anyone who,would give her power.
For my money, no character was more fun than Mirror Kira. Nana Visitor looked like she had a blast playing that character. DS9's episodes were really fun, Enterprise nailed their two parter, but I have to say Discovery (which I otherwise love) kinda overdid the Mirror episodes. I was relieved with they sent Georgiou away.
I'm way behind on the Paramount+ shows. I'm at the point where she is breaking down because of her displacement in both the wrong universe + the wrong time. Michelle Yeoh is AWESOME! I also credit the writing but she's just so damn GOOD with her attitude and her one-liners. Yeah......she has softened up some since she was first "kidnapped" from her universe but she's still great! She is FUNNY. Well....about as funny as a homicidal mirror universe character can be. I definitely agree with your #1 choice. The whole "mirror universe" premise has actually been overused IMO but as far as favorite performances/favorite alternate timeline character personalities......it's Georgiou all the way.

Ok, so Voyager never technically had a mirror episode, but it did have Living Witness, which was the closest they ever really got to a mirror episode. So if those characters were to have been included in this list, which ones would've made the list, and where would they have fallen on the list?

Ah, yes, they lacked cloaking devices. Except you literally see them use them the first time DS9 does an episode in the mirror universe. I guess they just kinda forgot that, just like Worf forgetting he had never been on a starfleet ship with one. Klingons have crappy memory.
And for all Klingons are supposed to be great warriors, Worf is the worst security officer in Starfleet.
