The Future of English: Global Perspectives

The Future of English: Global Perspectives' is our new research that explores the key themes shaping the future of the English language and its role in our world. To spark a discussion around the key themes from the landmark publication - English in education, English in the workplace, and English in the community, we organised an exhibition at British Council culture centre in Delhi. This book is the first publication in a major programme of research and global engagement started by the British Council in 2020.
The Future of English exhibition elements were also displayed at industry events like the Kolkata Book Fair, Vibrant Gujarat and Tamil Nadu Global Investor Meet 2024.
