it's not like you, or I could do any better of a job .. very few countries could in fact - no matter who was in charge
none of us have ever entered into a brand new job, and in our first year managed to, and had to;
- negotiate a global union deal, in a peaceful manor
- deal with an unprecedented global pandemic, like nothing anyone has ever seen before
despite the fact i voted labour - i very much believe Corbyn or May would have done far worse, and we wouldn't have had a leg to stand on when it comes to laughing at how badly Trump fucked things up in the US
the only people to deal with this so well have been South Korea
as we, the United Kingdom, entered into our lockdown, they began to exit theirs - because they were prepared.

I guess its the best anyone can do since there are no achievements or areas of competence to point to. You go ahead and feel sorry for him all you like. I'll reserve my sympathy for the victims of his callous policies.

@@Miss_Camel I totally agree. Funny guys are very attractive because you have to be smart to be funny. I think lots of people think that because Jon isn't 6 feet tall and overly muscular, that he isn't attractive...it's just not true.
@@marywood8794 - true story! There is nothing sexier than a man who can not only laugh at his own insecurities, but manage to be cocky anyway....I will take brains over brawn ANY day, so yummy.
I wonder if he really likes Snooker, because I do. But even if he doesn't, I'd keep on liking this man and the character he's created. Sweet but hard-edged. Full of insight and anxiety. Great piece of art in any case.

I'm counting down to leaving London after arriving in 2007.
I'll miss running/walking along the Thames, the convenient Tube, some of the parks (e.g. Kyoto garden in Holland Park), galleries and museums.
I'll miss the glamourous women drifting between yoga and their non-jobs in West London.
I won't miss the planes en route to Heathrow, worrying about air quality, the constant noise. I won't miss my tiny appt and I hope it pays for a better place elsewhere.
It's a bit sad because once you sell up, you really can't buy back in and I have a lot of memories. Everytime I go somewhere I wonder "Is this the last time I visit this place?"
The South African businessman is a fair accent. And given the grumpiness of many of us on the Waterloo >> SW London train, his imagined conduct is exceptionally generous.
The talking bit is fine, but he lost it when shouting! I feel it's cause often so many try to hard, so it sounds like a bit like a parody, pushing that harshness, whereas as he did it in his soft voice so it felt more accurate

@@arianaajbeaverhausen8175 better than Lee mack, I think often they try to hard to push the harshness, so it ends up sounding like a parody rather than accurate, like he did with the previous story I just saw about him talking about the stag do speed boat

Bloody useless. It’s so funny (or rather embarrassing) how compared to most of the Labour Party, Boris seems like a good leader
What a nasty job for a sound guy trying to bring the ambience mics up in time for the laughter and back down in time for the next sentence....and it almost never worked out. I would prefer to hear the laughter a lot quieter rather than this constant toggle between the dry and the ambient voice.
How are those stabbings going that dropped almost to none under Boris?
