You're the first person I've watched react to this that listened to Chef tear down his Sous and didn't immediately go "oh this man is about to die" haha. Going in completely blind is the best way to experience this movie and I appreciate how reactive you are.

Amuse bouche is suppose to make you more hungry and so is the appetizer. Amuse bouche awakens the palette, like how a boxer stretches before a meal thats what amuse bouche is suppose to do to the meal. In this case very subtle flavors making you think hard about what’s in your mouth and the appetizer is similar awakening the appetite a small thing to make you hungry for more to make salivate and desire the main course more.

Here are a couple of acting notes I've heard from the actors.
It was Anya's idea to have her back to the kitchen. It hurt her to keep twisting, but she says it was worth it.
The character description for Tyler said he was convinced Slowik would spare him if the chef liked him enough. That's part of why Tyler was so obsessed with being liked.
John Leguizano based his actor character on Steven Seagal, someone many other actors don't like and known to be difficult to work with.

One casting idea for the actor was to get Daniel Radcliff to play an exaggerated version of himself. However, Daniel was unavailable so they got Leguizamo.

Great movie. I loved how unpredictable it was. It was also hilarious at times. Wish we could get Gordon Ramsay to react to this 😆

Richard was a client of Margo’s once, but I think the important part is that he had some kind of sexual obsession with his dead daughter, whom his wife said she resembled and who pretended to be the daughter for Richard.

I think the funny part is when he is giving the guys a head start to run, and the guy that tries to throw the chair through the window takes off early... Ralph Fiennes says "okay..." 😆 Pretty much saying whatever... we're going to catch you anyway. LOL Liked your reaction to this film...👍

Nobody ran because the only way out was guarded by 3 guys with knives. Most of the men are exhausted from the attempted escape or injury. And all of them are emotionally drained from the experience. Not to mention the door was most likely locked.

Tyler was one of the worse kind of sycophant characters I've seen in a film in a long while. When I first seen the film, at first I just thought was he was a bit odd or weird.
But as the movie went on and was getting crazy, I came to think of him as the film's "true" main villain. Why? Because he was the only one of the guess to know the real reason why they were there.
Not only that, he brought in some woman he never met or known to die. Along with himself as well. That's why he acted so cold and aloof to everything that was happening while everyone else was either in shock or scared. I'm some would argue that Katherine would be the "true" villain in the sense it was her plan to kill everyone, including herself, was what set all of this into motion in the first place.

There is a reason why he is killing the actor and the girl he brings, it's a messed up one no matter what but still.
The actor in "calling doctor sunshine" has failed in his art, his acting was bad and was only doing it for fame/money, which is the reason why chef is killing most of these people. The reason why he is killing the girl we find out after the men are brought back, it's because she has been stealing money from the actor even though she is in no need for money. Which is why he asks "student loans?", she is also shallow and greedy.
That's also why he kills himself and his kitchen staff, they are all doing it for the money and not for the art anymore, which he finds is wrong.
The cheeseburger thing actually confused me to at first xD
It's because we see all his photos from end to beginning and the only time he is smiling is in the beginning of his craft, serving burgers. Even though he has had family and achievements, the only time he was happy was in that picture.

33:54. It's only for a split second. I had to slow the video down a lot to be sure, but you can see in the very last frame with the older rich lady, she smirks. I saw a theory that she also knew everyone was gonna die and that it was her idea to eat there. This might confirm that for me. XD

Also, about the ending, I've heard a little theory about it. She didn't really get away. Remember when Elsa tells the group that the meat absolutely must be aged for 153 days or else the meat will kill a person? What if Chef used bad meat? He didn't really let her go, and could explain that sharp, scary music as she takes that last bite.
Food for thought? Or does that leave a bad taste in your mouth?

@@REELITINREACTIONS The director has said she survives. But also, if you think about it, smoked meat is pretty dry. You can't make it into a juicy burger, it will turn into a sad cremated piece of beef.
