Hey man! To bring your tracking markers back up, click on your footage layer then in the effect controls panel click on the 3D Camera Tracker. You'll see the markers pop back up.
what's the difference between this way and if you actually track motion and then add a null object and link it to the video??(I've seen the second one on a Peter's Mckinnon video)
Hey man, so whenever I try to use tracker now in AE it always gives me the same annoying message saying it cannot track "collapsed transformations" I've tried searching up how to fix this but have been unsuccessful - Now I am getting used to Mocha, have you ever gotten that message before? I think it has something to do with my comp settings not matching the dimensions of my clip.. It's strange because it used to work and randomly stopped and I can't figure out what's up ! :(
Hey! It depends on the footage you are trying to track. After Effects' 3D camera tracker works great, but you have to have a shot that doesn't have too much motion blur, isn't too long and has plenty of areas inside your scene that it can recognize. High contrast areas in your footage helps After Effects create more tracking points. Hope that helps!
