For years and years they've been pulling off the trickle-down trickery of giving tax breaks and deregulation to wealthy corporations, while convincing blue-collar people that this actually benefits them, as though said corporations would let their low-level employees get even the slightest taste of it.
Trump has tapped into the con like a charlatan preacher. Send your money so I can pay my lawyers for all the crimes I’ve committed and to pay Melania’s $350,000 a year fashion advisor, designer clothes. Trump flies everywhere in his 757 airplane with a full crew.
To pay the overhead, they may have to turn the RNC headquarters into grift shops selling head baubles, coffee mugs, T shirts, sneakers etc.
Not to forget patriotic-pillows, from Mike !
Their main demographic will love the line of catheters and diapers

For one thing, Trump has to pay half a billion to New York in a month''s time, or be penalized over a $100K a day until he does. Of course, he will fight that, but it is looming over his head. I know there's some people who doubt that Trump was ever a billionaire - and I suspect that was true before he became POTUS - but he has used the office as a Grift Machine, and now I have no doubt he has at least a billion dollars sitting in some offshore account. If Saudi Arabia could give Trump's son in law TWO BILLION DOLLARS, it stands to reason that Trump himself was the recipient of BILLIONS of dollars from the Saudis or Russia or ?.... And you can bet that money is well off the books, meaning U.S. lawmakers wouldn't know of its existence (or, more importantly, what he did to earn that money).
Personally, I'm fine with the Republican donors blowing everything on Trump and his court fines

Since I'm from Germany, I don't know much about it. Are the votes secret or public? In the USA it is common that, as in the Chinese parliament, votes are often not held in secret - for example in the Senate.
