- Day 1 of our adventure to New Zealand finds us in the beautiful town of Oamaru, a town on the east coast of the south island of New Zealand known as the steam punk capital of the world. Elaine finds a bakery that sells some of the biggest pepper pies she's ever seen but will they live up to the hype?

That's typical of NZ pies regards to size and taste, but you're not supposed to take them all the way out of the bag, you hold them in the bag and eat them, keeps the gravy off the fingers.

This video just makes us want to go back to NZ. When we were there in February 2019 the rally was going on but I had no idea until I asked a couple guys on vintage Harley’s why all the bikes.

Another great video with some stunning views….what made it funny was hearing an Aussie use the term “Holy Toledo” (Toledo Ohio was dubbed holy by the gangsters of the 20s and 30s, as the police more or less allowed sanctuary and the gangsters left Toledo alone). Keep em coming Paul!

Rules for eating Kiwi pies, grap it, scoff it, lick your finger clean. The first building you had filmed was called The Grain Elevator Building. It was 5 stories high but it had a fire in the early 1900.

Thats typical of car rentals in both Australia and NZ. We have seldom( I might say never) been provided with the car we originally booked. And hello, the substitute is always more expensive......

You need to try the Wild meat😂 pies in Westport.. I'm a pie man😅 from way back ..the venison pies are superb..Wild pork..mmmmm ..beef cooked in stout is my wife's favourite.. heaps of others to sample...

Pepper, 8 isn't bad for a kiwi pie, NZ the one place in the world you can see sheep & penguins, snow on a desert, climb or ski a mountain, and swim in the pacific while getting pissed on organic wine and eating reindeer

Quite seriously, I have ridde Harley davidsons and copeted against them and they are nothing but shiny American junk, if I were actually given one I would get rid of it and replace it with a decent bike, which would be far more practical.
