Mercedes CLS55 AMG only makes 457BHP at the crank? Dyno Run Garage Plus Eindhoven

- I went for a dynorun not too long ago, but the results were way less than expected, well the horsepower figure was. Please note that it made 457BHP & 717Nm at the crank (not RWHP!), according to this measurement.
I suspect something went wrong, as my own Dragy measurements and comparisons don't correspond to this. Join the discussion here: mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/8...
It does a 100-200kph in 8.99 seconds. Proof: photos.app.goo.gl/s5EmHtymtuY...

Upgrade the cooling. Stunning automobile.
I have a larger intercooler and fresh Bosch 010 pump. czcams.com/video/ty7o0tcB0uA/video.html . Pierburg pump is on my shortlist though
@@NDPhotonl did you do the split cooling mod yet? I think VRP sells it. Also, the dyno could just be inaccurate as well. Usually a dyno measures wheel horsepower, not sure what calculation this dyno would use to attempt to say that 457 is crank. 457 seems more like a wheel horse power figure to me, considering all the other data online.
@@Wha_SAAB The split cooling is especially helpful with recovery after pulls, but helps nevertheless. I already scavenged some parts to do the split cooling myself, but still needs to be done. The dyno printout says 356bhp at the wheels > photos.app.goo.gl/TLUhfNaRipVD36Te6
@@NDPhotonl interesting. Is there a DynoJet in your area? That way we can eliminate some variables to get to the bottom of this.
@@Wha_SAAB Join the discussion here: mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/875814-low-dyno-results-what-went-wrong.html . So far it seems like a dyno run in the wrong gear (5th instead of 4th in M mode)
Heat soak mate 😉
That is probably also part of the "low" result
