  • This Festival Grounds decklist is so much fun to play in Pokemon TCG Live. These on-prize Pokemon hit for big numbers and can take out a lot of high HP Pokemon.

I agree with some of the other comments. I won 9 in a row with my Dpplin deck.
You need to have at least one Lana in this deck. It gets you back to full with one thwacky instead of two or three. A Roseanne is also super useful for recovering belts and stadiums. I also play goldeen just in case.
TMDevo is ok, but it's better to just ohko everything with belts and Kieran (yes it stacks).
Your goal should be to have at least 2 thwacky and an applin on the bench at all times. Best if you get 3 thwacky, 1-2 dipplin, 1 applin on the bench. Lana/Roseanne keeps your dmg loop going.
I don't think you need research much, since this deck should stop caring about thinning after turn 3. You should get any 2 or 3 cards you need by then. If you research away too many resources, you'll hit a wall in the mid to late game when you need them to hit big numbers. So I just run Iono.
Unless I have an awful turn 1, I usually have a win or near win.

I wonder with all these changes if it can actually win an online or IRL tournament.

There is a Gholdeen with festival lead that allows your Thwackey to stay active if you lose your dipplin. You put a rescue board on that to retreat it. This let's you keep your draw power going to keep chaining.
Max belt and Kierin let's you take out just about any EX. Pal pad and Cylene will get them back. You're going to do 180 twice with that combo. I don't personally think devo is useful, Lana's Aid is better to recover your cards. You have to keep chaining everything to keep dipplin ready to attack. Just my opinion. Usually as long as you don't get a bad T1 T2 you can hit hard. I beat turbo hands today and dragapult. I have actually beat a lot of great decks with this but have also lost big time. Gholdeen rescue board was my mistake. One boss can totally screw this up. Once they turn off Thwackey this deck goes south quick. The key I have found is pulling ahead to keep you having outs. I usually make sure I pull a switch and have a festival ready. It's a great and fun deck when it goes well! I love it!

I agree. Devo isn’t useful. We’re trying to OHKO stuff. I’m gonna make these changes and look into the Gholdeen.

Same here Birdman. Totally agree with your take. I don't bother with rescue board, but I try to have a switch or Arven in hand in case of boss.

@dannik9932 I added the rescue board to be able to pivot the golden for Thwackey without giving up a supporter or having to struggle with having a switch. Kieran should be for emergency switch out but mostly used to add the damage to the big EX.

i dont think it's the deck's fault that you keep forgetting you don't have the stadium in play, or that the last one is prized. otherwise, great video

Nope. Totally mine. It happens when you play different decks all the time.
