    That camp spot at the base of Barkly River Jeep Track is one where we've camped a few times. Almost had snow one time and almost went off the road on the way to Licola one time when it was covered in snow. The Mt Sunday Track not far north from the campsite is diabolical at times. And yes, have been up Mt Margaret in rain, before it was graded and that drive between Burgoyne and Mt Margaret feels like it's three times longer than it is. Unless you camped at Horseyard, that's one bloody long drive to Dargo.

    I cant wait for winter wheeling. Let it snow let it snow let it snow. The key to snow is air psi down under 10 psi and easy on the skinny pedal. Check out 22 Snowshoe or snowbatman 99 for some extreme snow wheeling. There videos are about 9 years old but they give you a great perspective on how to wheel in deap snow. Great video guys liked and subbed

    Tip for the patrol auto hubs. You can pop the auto ring out of the auto hub which turns it into a manual locking hub. The auto ring is the weak link. Google “convert patrol auto hub to manual” and there’s a thread on patrol4x4.com.au on how to do it.

    • @AustralianImage
      @AustralianImage Před 5 lety

      If you lock it manually, it does much the same thing. The hubs should never be left in auto whenever you engage low range.

    • @einfelder8262
      @einfelder8262 Před 5 lety

      The weak link in these hubs is not so much the auto ring but the two fingers deep inside that splay apart, which then allows slip which tears the rest apart. They are just a bit of pressed plate, rubbish design.
