- Watch as we head to Woods Point, drop into the Commercial Hotel for a feed then go find a camp! With rain all night, we think we are in for a good chance of snow. We start gaining elevation the next morning and discover a WINTER WONDERLAND! A chilly night in the snow but so worth it as we sit around a toasty camp fire with a great bunch of mates!

if I had heaps of money, I would build a house up in the Victorian Alps, Victorian High Country or Great Dividing Range, whatever you call it. I hate the hot weather down here in West Gippsland. Would love to have an escape route from all this hot weather 👀👍❗

We stayed up at mt terrible hut last weekend and woke up to about 50mm of snow Saturday morning 🤙

Good vid guys, a trip on the list to be ticked off !! But geez it annoys me when I see people drag all that water up a water crossing exit and wash it all out, a 5 second pause to let it drain for track management.

Would actually be interesting to know the effect stopping for those few seconds vs not that it does have on a river exit. I think majority of the damage would be done from wheel spinning on the way out from drivers. What’s your thoughts?
@@4x4brothers Probably a combination of both, but if you look at the rush of water running down the wheel tracks on exit it surely does contribute to washout, was just my two cents, will still watch and follow the channel :)
@@aussienscale yeah would agree would have to have some impacts. Might be something we try be a bit more conscious of too. We always do our best to tread lightly 🤝

Hey mate are u able to tell me the track u went on to get to this area? Im from north qld and we doing a high country trip and want to do a camp in the snow for bucket list and best times of year for it cheers 🍻
Gday bud this one was over webber spur/champion spur way. Timing is really hard these days as winter can be so inconsistent
All you can do is time the trip for winter and cross your fingers it's been cold enough for snow or have a bit of a window and be a bit flexible with the weather forecasts
