Just to confirm: that was indeed the moment I was talking about. Even now, it's hard to fathom the thought process behind it. I mean, it must have been deliberate, surely.

The actor that sounds just like William Hartnell played Catweazle. An out of time wizard with no real powers. Great kids' telly from the 70s.

I really didn't like this one. I didn't hate it, but I thought it was really bad. Watching this after City of Death was like getting whiplash. I hate k9's new voice, and you can tell that this was the first one they filmed with Lalla Ward as Romana as she hasn't really slipped into the role yet. The design team definitely knew what they were doing with that creature, no behind the scenes special feature can convince me otherwise, Hopefully the next story will be better. I've heard a few say its a guilty pleasure so I'm staying optimistic while not expecting too much.

If the designers did it on purpose... I have so many questions.
First and most obvious is *WHY!!!!!?????*

There’s so many things to hate about this story, I say it is the second worst Tom Baker story behind Underworld

    Ahh yes the pit serial.
The one where the Doctor does everything he can to not spoil the big secret that Romana is his sister. Sorry I meant the serial with the green big D.
No seriously Romana is our Doctor's sister...since the actual "Doomsday" of the classic Whoniverse.
When our Doctor was born inside the "Lost"/previous Whoniverse alongside the mankind that would "survive"the end of the "lost"/previous Whoniverse and become the Timelords inside the classic Whoniverse after both dying and loosing thier Earth to the Cybermen.
And yes Romana have a few more "secrets" she forgot as she died when the Cybermen took over thier Earth.
Shes the mother to the Master....
    What? You missed it?
Well 99.99999%+ of viewers missed it as RTD hid it so cleverly.
The multiversal hybrid child that was "Romanas" brother had a mother from our Earth.
And the multiversal hybridchild that you know as the Master was the child of....
scroll down for thw massive spoiler.
The man born out of war and chaos
    +
    the Bad wolf girl.

@@Dirvinator Its actually increadebly easy to get once you see what actually happend during RTD & Moffat era.
I take it you have seen those eras.
And that you knw the basics of what happend.
What almost none got is that the intro for the show have shown us something absolutly crucial this entire time during the new era.
(now speaking justhhte RTD & MOffat eras)
The TARDIS have been switcing Whoniverse inbetween the "classic" whoniverse & the "new" (Doomsday/Big bang) Whoniverse every time we saw something wedding related on the screen.
Exactly inbetween we saw Donna as a bride in episodes "Doomsday" and "End of time" the TARDIS was inside the new WHoniverse the entire time (except for when it was in the "inbetween" /"a second out of sync" to where OUR Earth had been taken.
ill soon return to this point but ill first point out how the 10th returned to see his mother and sister in End of time (Whcih he couldnt do within the new WHoniverse as they didnt exist there) (Rose had told him he could travel back into the classic Whoniverse in start of episode Journeys end).
= Geronimo took place within the Classic whoniverse.
(Now remember the series 5 intro)
The disintigrating TARDIS blue timevortex and the TARDIS "turning" (jumoing) over to the red "RIVERS" (in lack off a better name) red Whoniverse timevortex.
Next yo had the TARDIS in Elventh hour switch whoniverse TWICE in hte same episode. (first when he left Amelia (fro "12 years" and then in end when he left Amy and returned "2 years" later to Amelia that was about to marry...
      Wedding dress....
A man that had never existed (for Amelia)
As Amelia only ever remembered Rory from Amy´s life.
Due to exposure to leaking timevortexenergy from thier cracks in hter walls
      This went both ways...
= this is why Amy remembered the DOctor from Amelias life
(Exactly like Madame Pompadore (exposre to timewindows;) Lady Penforte (Silver Nemesis), Clara in Journey into the TARDIS/NAme of the Doctor; and the widow in the wardrobe sode tomention just a few examples of this)
= eveery single time during series 5 we saw something wedding related the TARDIS switched whoniverse + and/or Amy/Amelia remembered someting from the other life (not requiring something wedding related)
IF you know your DOctor Who you should be albe to spot all this above....
      AS
it was confirmed in the minsode "Goodnight" series 6
AMelia never had any periods; while Amy had = series 4 was within the new WHoniverse as Rivers was in it when she died.
In episode Doomsday during the goodbye call with Rose 10th told us (Ihidden in plain sight) how the classic whoniverse was about to end. As he described how the classic whoniverse where being replaced by the new)
"There is one last gap in the whoniverse that is about to close"
This qoute above is a super clever description of just that.
      AS
It in normal time shrinks down to a specific point in the near future.
      BUT
It is actually spreading out from that future point in time as it spreads out from that point in the future....
= That moment = the same day/moment as seen in Big Bang 3 series later....
and the TARDIS "travels" without moving over into the new WHoniverse that forms outside the TARDIS and as the TARDIS is within the the new WHoniverse for the first time...(our Doctor may have beein inside it during the 6th Doctor era)
= (not goinginto a spoiler I am not sure you have seen yet from the 7th Era (from the serial Battlefield)
long story short in start of "Stolen Earth" episode the Earth is not where it was supposed to be....
      HOW EVER!
And this was also so clever....
The Earth that was not there...had never been there before...
      AS
The Earth that was missing was not taken from the new WHoniverse. It had been taken from the classic WHoniverse. (from a point in time "after" the Doomsday but but before the classic Earth there had been "erased" out of eixstance in that collapsing whoniverse..
      =
In end of episode Journeys end OUR Earth (from the classic WHoniverse) was "returned" to the wrong (new) whoniverse..
= this is exactly the same as when the Earth that Rose and Jackie ended up on was taken out from thier "Lost"/Previous WHoniverse and thier Earth then fell to the Cybermen (and became Mondas)
In the new WHoni9verse OUR Earth (Hidden/cloaked/Psycic shileded) will/have fallen to the Daleks just like Mondas fell.....
and OUR Earth became New Skaro....
If you know your DW you should be able to see this once you relaise the other i have mentioned above...
There are a ton of stuff that confirms the above and the absolut strongest "evidence" is something I am not sure you have seen yet.
WHat I am gonna say without spoiling is that when you watch the "The Five Doctors" serial from the 5th Doctor era.
Remember the Name of the Doctor episode.
Where you saw the semisentient TARDIS as a dark tower in a dead zone acting as a tomb for the (former) Doctor on Trenzalore.
Which is exactly the same as......but on Gallifrey...
      =
You can from that confirm that everything is on an eternal repeat for each new WHoniverse where the events and out comes are always remainig the same while the details and people are able to be different
There is alot more but if you realise the above what the switching TARDIS have actually been doing....
You can following the implications backwards...
and one you realise that, you can being realise what i told u in the first input above.
      AND
here comes the kicker that clinch it to the above not being just random coincidences.
We have seen how the Doctor came to be not just once.
      But Twice.
As each whonivcerse (out there) have its own Doctor....
And we have seen the origin for the new WHoniverse Doctor in the show (Hidden in plain sight)
And if you know your DOctor WHo.
In episode Fathers day; Rose Tyler´s father died by that car and by doing that the multiversal hybrid child Jackie Tyler later had (in DOomsday) in the show had became possible (again).
      AND
We have seen this again in the show.
How a person had its birth became possible by this very same event with a car NOT killing her father...
And Clara is the new WHoniverse Doctor (but lets take tha tin an another input) just take my word for it atm.
But you know about the leaf that "caused the accident (that never was) "
It was in the Fathers day episode 2...
Yeep. its right there in the Fathers day episode (this is a have to go see for yourself thing) but right there when Peter Tyler decides he have to die to save everyone in the church...
      The leaf is right there
There iare ALOT more confirming the above....
but lets "continue" with this for now..
      ......................
So did you get anything of the above?
I totaly get if you dont as it requires alot of mindskill to be able to see beyond the veil the showmakers have put into the show but it all is right there if one begin see thru the veil..
and it is such a mindblowing AHHHHHHHA! expericene once one sees it...
I wish eveyone could see it as it have been done so cleverly.
ALl i can say is. Take the time to confirm the above:
      Its so well worth it.
And begin with minisode "Goodnight" series 6 and really listen to what Amy says and it will begin life the veil about the 2 different Amelia and Amy thrhuout series 5 and from there follow what it means for Donna and the show...
This is still absolutly crucial for the show till this day.
This is the real reason Donna (and Tennant) is back.
But as said the above is not for everyone as it requires some brainpower to spot.
Hope i got you to atleast start see it.
