- This is the second week of webcam league gameplay video for L8 Night Gaming. Loopee from L8 Night Gaming brings his Vader Force Ramp deck to the party against the deck widely considered the best deck in Star Wars: Unlimited, the mighty Boba Green ECL.
This match is the second created as part of the SAGA (Space Arena Ground Arena) webcam league where players from around the world compete weekly playing Star Wars: Unlimited. adamG is a great player, who had a fully built Boba Green deck, using Astrotech's list, which won back to back league titles in the largest online SW:U league pre-release run by Take the Initiative.

IMHO the best vader deck is with blue and not green (using a regular 30 life points base). Very heavy on events and more space units than ground (with a few exceptions).
So, playing against boba you wanna control the board and never play anything on the ground until their ramp doesnt matter, and basically trade 1-1 on kill spells. If there is room deploy on space and it is an "easy win".
And playing against sabine you wanna do whatever always trading and holding the game until you take over with bombs.. (in blue we have several ways to easily deal with sabine and if they are pinging with her we always have the initiative).
And what I think vader does better than Iden in this color combinations is that vader itself is a threat by itself that you can rely to win the game. So in a control mirror blue vader is also good!

Vader blue is good, but imo if you want to play control its better to play a blue leader with a command base, Green is so strong to don't use It, and vader in turn 6 its a little late, you can't use super laser blast in 80% of games, idk i think Vader Green is better, deploying vader in turn 3/4 is so good
Vader with ICL is just better. Green is just better at everything this set. It could change in the future, but your right in just comparing Vader blue to Iden red because their both below Vader ICL.

Great games! The web cam setup is working really well. Hopefully you can get the audio balancing worked out. Seems like Loopee is always a little quieter than everyone else in all of the videos.

What would be a good replacement for people who can't afford 7 drop vader?
Great question, he is pricy for sure. In my Vader list, good options include Palpatine (who is rare not legendary) and the third ruthless Raider. In Boba green I might go the other direction with high impact lower cost units like AT-RT and Swoop Racer.
Yeah game 2 ended on that attack anyway never marked the boba 4dmg to base... Great games fellas

If you're looking to buy Star Wars Unlimited check your local game store. They're intentionally prioritizing the smaller mom and pop shops over the big box stores.
