akuma has 1000 less hp than the other characters and also the damage reduction wasnt fully applied cuz he only Hkicked
at minute 1:50 she does a combo that is more than half the damage.
2HK plus level 3 is 4900 damage, that's more than half of Akuma's health

Is Akuma a bad matchup for A.K.I.? She seems to have trouble anti-airing him when he uses air-projectiles.
As an Aki main, I’d say that it’s pretty even. Akuma’s air fireball is more like a shimmy to bait out Aki’s anti airs because theyll almost never reach due to the angle. But if you use her dive, you can go straight through the fireball and hit him as he comes down

I'll sometimes just walk forward or dash as an option when I see an akuma jump. Feels like a 50/50 almost whether to try and anti air an akuma or not. If you successfully punish an air fireball with positioning they usually will stop or be more careful. 1700mr AKI btw. I have a 60% wr against akumas though and enjoy the matchup.
look at Miyazawa's last fight on the channel, he usually walks under Akuma to get through it, sometimes
As someone who also plays Aki I'd say the only problem is that air fire ball there's so many mind games that can be played around it that it can feel uneven at times a lot of people will say u can walk under but there's a lot of factors that may go into that

Interessante ver jogadores com personagens sem estrelismo (Ryu, Ken e Akuma). Sempre a mesma forma de jogar... jogar magia até o oponente se encher e partir para o ataque.
Técnica é jogar com personagens sem a bendita magia que mesmo ao se defender subtrai life ... Seria interessante mudar essa mecânica e ao defender o ataque de uma magia. nao ter subtração de life ... Será que essa galera que gosta de ficar na apelação ainda continuaria optando pelos jogadores estrelinhas ?
