Daigo maining Akuma and Tokido maining Ken. We are truly living in bizarro world.
Barry is messing with the timeline again...
all we need is Momochi maining Ryu and the alternative timeline is complete.
Tokido said his Akuma still wasn't tournament ready and relied on op Kenny boy. Lol 😅
@@RushianRichardNah...it's because Akuma is not top Tier in this game....Tokido is probably not gonna main Akuma in this game
It should be vice versa ye
5:53 Got to be one of the best counters I've seen in 6
Not the best, IT WAS GODLY
How he managed to sqeeze 2 hits + a Super while Tokido was performing a Drive Impact is insane.
I am not even mad that he tried the raging demon around 10:30. These guys are good. I could watch them play all day.
6:45 That throw bait is wild to me man, spacing was perfect and his reaction time to punish insane.
It's definitely baits and shimmies like this that separate the really good players from the rest.
@@KoolKollectiblesthe people who focus on pure aggression and combos are missing out on this good stuff
@@user-pj1ec5om5gIt may depends, if u happen to go against very passive player this might not work
I would actually respect it a lot of tokido doesnt allow himself to be constrained by character loyalty
Akuma actually suits Daigo's play style a lot more than Guile or Ryu in this game.
How so? Daigo is a patient player and Akuma is all about aggressivity. I don't see your point.
@@Mitsu852 Can't you just see how Daigo is playing Akuma nowadays???
He plays him aggressively
@@abdulrafay2730 i mean not really tbh. I've seen Kawano who is currently Rank 1 on akuma play. And it's vastly diffrent. Daigo is playing akuma like he plays Ryu or Ken his gameplan is the classic shoto chart and i don't think he is making the best use of Akuma's tools. Go Check some kawano Highlights you might get my point. Daigo is winning with pure fundamuntals and game knowledge but not really by pushing akuma to 100%. It's an alternative playstyle and i am not downplaying daigo by saying any of that it's just that i believe the gameplan is lacking. But who knows i am just a master player i do not compete at a high level so it's just an opinion.
@@Mitsu852Akuma is definitely a more dangerous opponent than Kawano.
Kawano is aggresive sure, but Daigo conditions you, Daigo trains you like a dog.
@@Mitsu852 IMO we are going to see Kawanos style of Akuma fall off, while Daigos slow conditioning fireball heavy play works the best on Akuma of all 3 current shotos.
Kawanos aggressive jumps ins/demon flips are just going to get punished more and more, and as people learn when they can/can't press against Akuma for the best risk/reward, suddenly aggressive buttons and testing people by fishing for counter hits with adamant flame will just become more risky and expensive as people react better to which version he used and punish accordingly, forcing more Ex usage to stay safe. Turn steals and reversals are also more risky for Akuma than any other character, so not only is minimizing that risk a must long term, being an inherently risky player going for hard callouts and such by turn stealing, going for the most damaging oki situations, etc, will have a much higher penalty as Akuma.
Meanwhile Daigos style is really enhanced by being able to vary his fireball timing to such a degree. Using demon flip sparingly makes it harder to react to and punish, and Daigo works very well with just taking his plus frames off of demon flip and working with that to get an advantage. Akumas biggest strength over Ryu and Ken is that his neutral is way stronger because of his fireballs, movement speed, and long normals. All things Daigos slow neutral heavy style takes much greater advantage of than Kawanos rushdown looping mixup style which is really Kens specialty in SF6 much more than Akuma.
Daigos style has always been capitalizing on small scenarios for damage, dominating neutral, and conditioning the opponent so they get antsy and whiff something dumb he can nuke them for. Akuma lets him build a huge mental stack on the opponent just from fireball timings alone and with the rare demon flip to supplement. With Akumas speed he's never really at risk for just getting clipped nearly as often as the other shotos when trying to get his opponent to whiff after he has conditioned them that he is going to press his big spacing buttons a lot (which aren't super punishable unlike many of Ken/Ryus better footsies/spacing tools. He doesn't need to force things with Akuma the way Ken does, nor does he have to set up and bully the opponents guard the way Ryu does.
IMO in SF6 Akuma is not the aggressive vortex shoto, Ken is. That's why Ken doesn't work for Daigo very well but works amazingly for Tokido. Akuma on the other hand seems like the absolute best shoto at just playing a strong defensive neutral game to force the opponent to do things, while taking little risk yourself.
Tokido play with a mastered Ken(full time) while Daigo play with a Akuma in development(while playing other games).
Shame Tokido might not solo main Akuma but respectable considering he likes how good still is.
I DIDNT KNOW AKUMA CAN SIDE SWITCH WITH LAVA PUNCH!!!! WHATTTT
What a high level gameplay !!!
@2:53
That follow up-😮
Respect the two legend
13:02 this checkmate sequence starts with Ken at 80%
OMG this was a Chess match!! the MIND games!!!
- person who's only ever played checkers
I love how no matter what year it is, what game it is, or the caliber of players involved, someone playing Ken will throw out a random, risky SRK. Not even Tokido is immune to the allure of 'random SRK go.' Also the Cap jams arrangement of Spirit of the Flame is kind of a bop. Also, that outfit is why she took the kids, Ken. That outfit right there.
I swear Diago is playing SF4 with Akuma lol
0:04 SFV KEN’S THEME!!!
Tokido! Daigo!
DAIGO! TOKIDO
Why did the game end after it was 3-3?
Ken’s moveset looks really good in this game
how you enjoying the new jukebox feature for replay recording?
It's really nice to have some variety for the music. I just wish we could choose a track for a replay manually, sometimes rng just refuses to cooperate.
@@SF6HighLevelReplays Just make every single video RASHIDOOOOOOOOOOOOO it's fine.

Yes, this is the battle (daigo akuma vs tokido ken) I hunger for 😂😂😂
I’m excited to see how this goes!
AB Ken will kick Tokido's Ken if they meet again in the tournament
The first match would of been over if he drive rush after those kicks
DAIGO A LENDA 🔥🔥
This is quite a good videogame to cure insomnia
Menuda pinta de macarra tiene Ken con ese traje 😝😝
Briga assim que a gente gosta. Os melhores junto com Moke. Nada mais justo q empate.

The one thing about SF that I've never liked is the dizzy mechanic. It only benefits the person who is winning. I'd like to see it turned into a risk/reward system. Imagine if dizzying someone would come with consequences based on the character. Take Ryu for example. What would it be like if Ryu would have a 10s window where his attacks dealt more damage and his specials had quicker startup frames and quicker cooldown frames? It could even be based on the character and what you do to them during the dizzy state. Leave someone alone and you get the chance to build meter and/or the dizzied person gets a small nerf for 10s. Hurt the person dizzied and they get a small buff. Maybe it's a dumb idea, but I've never liked the idea of getting an instant advantage with the dizzy mechanic.
Great matches

🦶🦶🦶🦶
Tokido has given up on the Akuma experiment wahhhhhhh 😢
All these guys need is 1-2 low level insignificant oversights (they arent even classified as mistakes) to punish you and win a round.
They know the game inside out and they know to exploit things you were doing that you didnt even know was something that was considered punishable.
Even trying to do a Drive impact (something many consider a safe move and even game makers consider it a get out of corner move) is risky thing against them.
It would be a good idea if Capcom invites all of these "Fighting Gods" and consults them on devloping a game that cannot be exployed easily even by top players.
2:26 tokido WHAT A COMBO WOW
Oh Ken.
What have they done to you?
ときんす、悪昇竜(バッドしょうりゅう)と踊(ダンス)っちまってるな
How much hp does akuma has?
9000
any reason tokido not playin akuma??
He still needs time to hone him in SF6, considering how easily Zangief and Marisa can take him down.
Why tokido s not using Akuma ?
Tokido's neutrals are so good. This is real high level gameplay!
after 360 rounds, we have no winner
Still 3-3 at the end
I like Tokido the way he fight compare to Daigo. Like in boxing Tokido is exciting the way he fight hes seem like Manny Pacquiao and Daigo is Floyd Mayweather
E emocionante vê o DAIGO vencendo ele 😝
Naw Daigo is like Crawford or Lomachenko.
Is Daigo actually picking Akuma? Not sure how long he’s on grind but I see he drops combos and even presses wrong button randomly in this video
Daigo is known for taking his time when it comes to mastering a character. Hasn’t even been a month yet, he’ll get there
Akuma has been out for less than a month. He'll get better.
Lemme tell u smth
DAIGO IS HUMAN 😮
No wonder why Tokido didn't stick to Akuma on SF6 .
I believe Akuma Woke on this game
This is high level gameplay yeah right man’s was spamming most of the time
Akuma always has this defect of taking more damage... There are absurd characters in the game and Akuma always comes with this questionable balance from Capcom
It's not questionable. Akuma has everything. He has strong zoning, strong anti-zoning, credible command throw threat, mobility, absurd damage (and easy conversions,) the full shoto suite, air fireballs, built in mix-ups from demon flip (not quite as strong in this game, but still useful) etc. He's the only DLC that's come out for SF6 so far that actually might be kinda P2W.

Something about this looked/felt wrong.
Like a poorly designed game mechanic.
Daigo, plz go back to Ryu. It's been a min. That was your main back in the day
Ryu doesn't play the way Daigo likes in SF6. Ryu hasn't been his only main throughout the series, you know. He's probably played Guile more than he's played Ryu at this point.
Nerf Akuma asap
so akuma doesn't have mixups or vortex anymore? This was a pretty boring match I thought akuma would be cooler but I guess not even he can overcome sf6's lameness.
You're watching a completely different game than the rest of us, then. This entire set was mix ups and mind games. Every time someone hits Drive Rush, it's a high/low/throw mixup. Every time someone's getting up, it's a mixup. It's less that Akuma can't vortex/mixup and it's more that everyone can to an extent because of system mechanics. Demon Flip in SF6 is also slower than 3S and carries more inherent risk since SF6 has more system mechanics to punish a bad read (or heavily reward a good one.) In return, pretty much any hit Akuma lands puts you on the ground and sets you up for another high/low/throw and repeats the process. That's like, the definition of a vortex. You just have actual options to get out of it now rather than auto-losing.
@@ThePageofCups Lol FG players out here assuming everyone else doesn't even know what a mixup is.
Glad someone's enjoying the crappy drive mechanics cuz I sure ain't. sf6 was an absolute waste of my money.
If you got a lot of mistakes. You lose.
So, Tokido doesn’t seem to DP those demon flips-
Is that a goof or is there a reason?
@@planexshifter If you miss with dp you lose half your health bar
Gosh ik they are legends and their game sense is amazing but watching them fight is boring to death.
boring.
