- When we got our bait we went to go fish at Sebastian Inlet Florida. This is a great inlet to fish in Florida but I would highly suggest watching the locals before you fish. The fishing here can be intimidating but if you follow the 3 rules on the video and watch how people are fishing before casting you should enjoy fishing here! My friend Jerry Mcneely also came out with us to help get some footage, so check out his channel.

Why was he not interested when he saw the mackerel?
Mathus Vaiaoga he just wanted to make sure I knew the size limit and how many I was able to keep! From what I’ve seen over the years FWC officers will sit there and count every single fish if they feel like they are to small or if you have to many!👍

Let's send a message to the estate laws.
Is to much abuse , they need to ✋ this
And let people fish , none commercial fisherman. The weekend working man that spends lots of money , investing
In the economy. Please understand me I'm not against laws but the fishing laws have gone over the broader.
WOW!! Good day to be out there!! Caught me a 3ft cuda there recently! I use 40# braid and 30# leader, 10ft rod w/shimano 8k baitrunner....never lost a fish! XD
Revolution Road nice set up! Yea cudas are fun to catch I just hate when I catch a fish and I have to hurry up and reel it in before half of it goes missing!😂
We ate cudas in the Caicos, and called them 'salt water walleyes', they were that good. They sure stink,but don't let that keep you from fine eating.
jaddy540 I usually eat the smaller cudas! If they are over 3ft I either throw them back or give them away.

For some lazy fishing go to the South catwalk and put out a 12" rattling lure with a diving lip. Let it float out a good 75 yards or more. It will work by itself. Incoming tide will produce really BIG blues or reds. Outgoing tides,let it get out there 200 yards for Tarpon. Use at least 35# line. Then drink beer and read , letting the current do all the work for you.

Crocodile and Alligator spoons work great there on the blues.Some bait places sell 'recovered ' ones cheap.The lures are identical,but one has a swivel. I used to tell the tourists that they were stamped out of old car bumpers.I love to put the tourists on. One evening when the fishing sucked ,an elderly lady,asked me why the fishing was so poor. I told her that they did not stock it the last few days! Another elderly lady asked what I was fishing for, and I told her ,"Clams. and I have 6 already". Then I showed her 6 clams in my bait box.

Great hookups I have seen like 200 people fishing where you are and no one had caught a fish for over 6 hours some bad days also.
Bob Scruggs thanks for watching!🤙 and yea Sebastian can be hit or miss sometimes but I always check the fishing report before I go out there to see if they are catching anything. I was on St. Augustine pier once,fishing for whiting,about 60-70 poles there and no one had fish. Left the pier ,went about 1/2 mi. north in the surf, and there were the whiting. They tend to school up.When surf fishing,use 2 poles about 25 yards apart. then move them up the beach until you start getting action. Sitting on your butt and sucking beer is a lazy habit. Expend a bit of energy.Lures are good in salt water,use rattlers.

Fernando Salas yea I’m pretty sure you need one to fish Sebastian. You can get the saltwater shore fishing license for free at Walmart though!👍

Love this shore fishing where you can catch all kind of fish and big one... How much is fishing licence in Florida? I'm from San Diego CA... Do they live shrimp at local there? How much? Does frozen shrimp and squid work?... Thank you for sharing...
PhongMike thank you for watching and commenting!👍 A saltwater shoreline license in Florida is free but a snook stamp is $10.50 I believe! And yea I’ve seen some people fish for shrimp occasionally there! And honestly depends on what your fishing for live shrimp is great for snook while dead shrimp is great for black drum!🤙
PhongMike also the price of shrimp varies from each bait store because they have different sizes of live shrimp they keep
Thank you for info... No fishing licence is required for pier + shore + jetty fishing? Over here in CA it's only free at the pier or pay $53/year... But fish are small and skunk most of the time... But boat fishing for Tuna + Yellow tail is popular..
