theres only one path nio ceo needs to focus on..and thats stop his spending and bring nio profitable right away...needs to get stock price very high then can raise capital instead of diluting investors at 4 dollars...become profitable by stopping the 700million a 1/4 burn waste. Normally import taxes are due at the customs. So if you import you have to pay. That s why some car makers sent lot of cars in EU before july 4th.
truth is nio has become a endless money pit thanks to the ceo spending and lack of results..everyone talks about how long it took tesla to become profitable. Nio will take longer over 20 years forsure now the way ceo is spending and the truth is tesla was the first EV company going through all the learning..they actually paved the way for other EV companys so they could avoid the mistakes tesla went through...so actually nio is failing even worse becasue they should have learned from tesla, but instead bin li leading us into a deep money pit path...so far nio has not put out a product thats we can say is successful..they are 8-9 models in and still have terrible excuses why they cant put out steady monthly sales.
NIO vehicles will start autonomous battery swapping in the second half of the year.
Dr. Shen Fei updated NIO Power's data at the WAIC meeting today:
- 2,442 battery swap stations with more than 22,000 charging piles;
- 294 of these battery swap stations have already opened high-speed pilot battery swaps.
He also announced that in the second half of this year, users will be able to leave their vehicles and the vehicles will queue up to complete the battery swap autonomously;
this is mainly for battery swapping scenarios in high-speed service areas. The tests have been completed and it is hoped that some stations will be online in the second half of the year.
Nio understands Europe will take time, trying to change "China's" perception on quality won't happen overnight.

Can't help but to step back & see what is going on.. The narratives & the lens of perspective in how things are viewed is pretty sketchy tbh. Rivian delivered 13k EV'S in Q2 '24 down Year over year!! Rivian has a $6B market cap higher than NIO right now!! Amazon EV delivery vans caught on fire made by Rivian!! NIO delivered 57k EV'S in q2 up big Year over year.. & NIO replaces a CFO that in march '23 announced on Bloomberg that NIO was expected to deliver 250k EVS in 2023, & be profitable sometime in 2024, & NIO opened up -9%, & Rivian opened up at -1%. Is this just me or is there a huge double standard being applied here?
@MManStock This is the preception but, not the reality.. If all US companies were discounted just because of what Nikola motors did than this would be the equivalent of what Luckin Coffee did. Not sure if you are aware but, The Luckin Coffee situation where they cooked the books was inspiration of the HFCAA act that Trump signed into law Dec 18th 2020. Now look at the penalties of Nikola & Luckin Coffee & you Don't just see major inconsistencies but a a huge biases going in favor of US companies and judged more harshly against Chinese companies.. Nikola fined $125 million, Milton 4 years in jail vs Luckin Coffee $180m, + hfcaa, + all Chinese companies listed in NY have SEC filings & regulatory hoops out the Ying yang.. lol
Also all Chinese listed companies in NY have to have PCAOB accredited accounting firms to do the accounting for them. Also every year teams of hfcaa inspectors make their way to Hong Kong to inspect the books of these accounting firms to see if there are inconsistencies or concerns.. Then the findings are reported to the SEC if access to these books were being blocked or resisted?? Prior the Chinese had a law that since has been taken away. That no foreign regulator is allowed to inspect the books of any Chinese company..
@MManStock I don't care what you think either, The US stock exchange is over inflated to support the ultra rich Oligarchs. Chinese companies like NIO are producing much more than Rivian & Rivian just delivered 13k EV'S in q2, NIO just delivered 57k EV'S in Q2.. Nobody in their right mind would say with a straight face that Rivian is a better company than NIO.. & Rivian's were burning in the Texas sun in the Amazon parking lot.. & NIO Is valued $6B more than NIO!!! Pfff yeah right.. lol 😂
@MManStock I don't agree that just because of a company being Chinese it should be 80% off the valuation!! Like in NIO'S Case & countless other Chinese firms.. In NIO'S case the narratives are always negative but, being in and participating in the Chinese EV market makes NIO that much more competitive, this is a very good thing... Too bad oligarch Musk had to open his big mouth & now teriffs are a political agenda all of a sudden, in Europe & The States.. pfff
Can NIO sell cars around the world? Why not? It seems simple!
1. Go where BYD is selling. In fact, ask BYD to add some NIO cars to every shipload.
2. Market cars with batteries included!
3. No 'pubic' swapping stations in the early years.
4. Build out minimum repair stations with one swapping station if a battery is damaged and covered by insurance.
5. Plan to expand swap stations as you have done in China.
6. Do not build NIO Houses in the early years!
7. Make some money!

Have land available for u to place a swap station for free. Once Americans see what u offer they will be calling their politicians on the phone telling them to lift the ridiculous tariffs. Imo u need to do this in all 48states in America to get the ball rolling. U R already wasting money and doing this for free as an investment will open the doors to American Consumers.

If NIO or ONVO are better cars than Tesla, why are they cheaper than Tesla?
orders dont matter if they dont make money on the cars and bin li is spending nio into the ground..bin li is clueless.
They make about 10% gross on the automotive sales this will improve in Q2 because of scale so more cars sold with a higher margin. Also spending on infrastructure should start dropping because this cost will be spread across multiple companies. As for the R&D that will stay high. At any rate income should go up and spending should go down slowing the burn significantly over the next few quarters. It looks like they can’t bridge to profitability on their cash pile I’m betting the market is wrong I think the cash burn is cut in half very soon and continues to drop to break even which I think they achieve by Q4 of 2025. We will have to wait and see.
@@trent1615 unfortunately that’s wishful thinking and not realistic..not with bin li and he’s proven this already..he’s out of control with his spend rate and revenue is not increasing as a growth company that’s why nio’s stock tanks….if the rate of revenue increase was like a growth company should be then the stock would reflect this…nio is spending us into the ground and that is a ceo problem..he rather dilute us at $4 then at $60 with profitable results
@@78MANOFSTEEL I was making the point that units sold do matter because Nio unlike many legacy and some start up ev companies actually loss money on every unit sold Nio makes right around 10% which should improve because we doubled our sales quarter over quarter so economy of scale should improve that by a percent or two. I’m also going to take the position that the CEO probably has an above average IQ and is well educated so he probably knows a lot more about running a company than the average investor he clearly thinks he needs to be this aggressive for a reason.
I’m also going to be optimistic that’s not the same as wishful thinking as humans we overestimate the negative from my perspective the market is overestimating the negative on Nio humans are naturally fearful. Could I be wrong absolutely and I will mitigate that with position size put I’m very confident that the losses shrink and the profits increase on the cars in this up coming report if that’s not the case in six or so weeks I will have to reassess but I’m not overly concerned because I opened my position when Nio went under 10 billion market cap so I’m not sweating it I have just got here and I’m a decade plus kind of investor.

Nio never goes straight up, it’s a huge rip off for investors supporting NIO.
Tesla China's sales, including exports, were 355,616 units January-May that is 71,000 cars a month. If China Bans TESLA just like the USA is banning DJI , all these sales will move to chinese companies. if China puts 100% tarrifs on USA EVs a similar effect will happen. It is easier for NIO EVs to grow inside China than to try to expand to other countries due to the existing swap stations. I hope china policy makers reciprocate the ban and tarrifs.
What are you talking about? It's about import taxes. Teslas aren't being imported into China? If NIO wants to avoid U.S. import taxes, it must build a factory in the U.S. or Mexico.
Once the sales increase with Onvo & Firefly, they might consider building a factory in Europe, to boost the competitiveness.
