today i tell you about how i care for monstera deliciosa and borsigiana! i give you all the tea, and some easy tips and tricks for growing it!

^^^^^^ according to this article Monstera Delicosa and borsigiana are the same plant, and that borsigiana is a synonym for deliciosa. I personally disagree with this. They site Kew, saying deliciosa is the only accepted variety.
The awesome thing about plants is that the rules for them are ALWAYS changing. there are clear notable differences in borsigiana and deliciosa, the biggest being one variety is notably smaller than the other, and one have extremely long internodal spacing, almost making it a vine, and the other is extremely compressed.
Just because a plant isnt yet "scientifically recognized" as a different plant doesnt mean it down exist or isnt a different plant *clown face*. This article to me is extremely haughty and opinionated. Just this last year, sanseveria were accepted into the dracaena genus, and now snake plants are technically dracaena and not sanseveria anymore. I found quite a few sources saying borsigiana was found in a separate part of Mexico, where it has different growth patterns, smaller leaves, a faster growth rate, and longer internodal spacing.
IDK, to me this article is clown behavior. unfortunately its the first thing that pops up when you google about this, so thats kinda awkward.
I also very specifically remember a video showing deliciosa and borsigiana flowers, and how they fruit differently.
however if i am WRONG youre welcome to cite your sources and show me.

I just picked up a big monstera from someone local and I am so in love with it. The leaves are bigger than my head. Probably one of my favorite plants I've gotten recently!
My sport variegated Monstera deliciosa has been growing INTO my bookcase and since doing that, she's grown mid spine fenestrations and I'm not mad

😁🪴 Placing the areal roots in a jar/container of water gives it nutrients from the jar and even fertilizer works also whereas it doesn't need it soo much from the pot/substrate.
!!! Do not use rain water because it is sitting water and already has bacteria plus larva will thrive in there. Use spring basic water with no added stuff and top it up most days.
USE a big container/jar because it will grow the areal roots very quickly!
My areal roots outgrew the glass vase and it never was underwatered or overwatered.

Hey girl hey...I love your shirt..it looks soo good on you..comfy looking too..I love monstera too..I propagated one and it is putting out new leaves..yes they have slits..lol..But it is just in water for now..I love how you have them all together and they look like one plant. It is cool!!

I have two that have leaves big as my upper torso I grow mines outdoors in the spring summer and early fall then bring them back indoors before the temp drops below 40 degrees I just bought a couple more like 3 months ago they were small when I got them about the size of softballs the leaves are now a little bigger than my head now

The humidity in the winter is so low where I live, that I have to water my plants way more than I do during the summer! I feel like I’m the only person who suffers with this problem 🥲 bc every person on CZcams says the same thing: “water your plants less in the winter time!” - my plants would literally crisp up if I did that!
I know this is totally off topic but; doctor think I can bring my money tree outside for the spring/summer? Mine has gotten out of control big and I could use the clearer room for the season, but seems like no planty CZcamsr talks about that plant so I don’t really know if it can live outdoors.
