P.R.O.B.E.: Ghosts of Winterborne - Effects Comparison (CONTAINS SPOILERS)

In 1996 the final P.R.O.B.E. film starring Caroline John was made entitled Ghosts of WInterborne, it was released by Reeltime Pictures in 1996 for VHS, in 2011 it was digitally remastered by Alistair Lock on DVD with a few improvements including video quality but also some goofs.

What on earth did they do to that burning book. It looks like it's not actually on fire in the DVD footage, when in the VHS it clearly is

Indeed, some of the effects changes are very questionable, I think it would have been better had they just upscaled the originals and left the effects as they were.

@@DanTheMan2150AD Nah haha, AirZone was released in around the time they were making Zygon so it didn't get special treatment apart from restoration. Cyberon on the other hand.... theres a high chance that was updated
