Bass cat by far but the Ranger is in good condition
Being a bass boat junkie/fan in general, both boats are nice. I love the Ranger, but the Bass cat hast a pretty sweet setup with the trolling motor, graphs and pan optics. I picked up an '85 Ranger that I am going to attempt to bring back to life.
Hey Grumpy and Michael, I love watching your videos. I love the way you all take the time to make things right and do things professionally. I've done most of the work on my 2003 pro crat 205 myself. And I love how you both take the time to show and explain things that y'all do, so we can understand it. You both do the work on the boats as if you own the boats yourselves, so you want it done right. It's hard to find people who you can trust to do the guilty work you do. I live in central Florida, but I would love to stop by and visit your shop the next time I go visit my son in San Antonio if that's ok.

That Bass Cat is close to a 70 mph boat, no disrespect to anyone, but I would not turn loose any high schooler, male or female in it.
That's a lot of boat for a kid. Hopefully she's being driven around. I would imagine that's the case.
High School Anglers are required to have a boat captain. I took my 85 Ranger 373V to captain our 2022 Oregon State Champs. If you guys ever get the opportunity to take a high school team out, definitely do it. It's a blast and the only way we keep this sport growing in our modern world where most kids don't get off the Xbox, Playstation, or phones.

93 ranger all day, functional yet classic style and refurbished to the T
4:21 those are known for going out. They make a replacement, super dash conversion kit (analogue gauges and the A10 touch pad). I would love to find a nice cheap BCB Sabre to restore. Have fond memories of my dad working on Basscats at Stacks marine (now closed) out by the old good-year blimp base.
I have a 2000 Sabre with a 175 merc efi already went through all ready to go
