We've renovated 3 kitchens so far. We've refaced doors and used flat packs from Kaboodle and Ikea. All are great budget friendly options that make a huge difference!

Some fantastic tips there and I love the use of multiple benchtop surfaces which I'm trying to convince hubby is ok to do. I'm considering a couple of different materials myself but worried about colours because my floorboards are dark Jarrah and I want to use dark cupboard bases and timber top for my island.
coolredkelpie thank you heaps for the feedback ! ahh it’s always hard making these decisions hey! If you go with colour, stick with a classic colour... nothing that is currently ‘on trend’, becuase it could date! Good luck with it all!

Tray&Bec Griffiths hi Bec, I’m sorry! I missed this comment earlier. We used Dulux one step & prep for the primer.. & normal acrylic paint for the top coats 👍☺️
