Not a huge fan of the bloodhound gang or Marilyn Manson but THIS song is a hit. Mike flossing and dabbing to that guitar solo is the most beautiful dance I have ever seen.
This is one of the most upbeat and happy songs I’ve heard where the main chorus consists of ”Yes” and ”Motherfucker”. I don’t even care if youtube flags me for this.

I only had a about a day and a half to record and mix the music and make the video before having to go away for work for a week. About 4 hours before I had to leave I got the the idea of animating the lads in the tunnel to add some different visuals to the guitar solo. That's why the animations are a bit janky 😅

For these kinds of parodies, having something look janky can add to the effect for me. I think because it emphasizes that the contrast between what you are comparing (red letter media and rockstars) and the contrast between the photoshopped images. Art from adversity I guess.

I wanna say, too, that the "camera movement" in these videos has a lot of potential I think. The part towards the end of the second "yes" chorus where the camera rapidly zooms out and tilts a little would be great to have when the chorus first kicks off to really up the energy there. Maybe saved for the second chorus still, but yeah. :)
I really like how you can match cuts and kinda bridge them with that technique, too. I get that the turnaround on this whole thing is super fast so there probably isn't much time for those extra bells and whistles, but they're appreciated. They make coming back to the video extra addictive! :)

It was really under the gun, that's why there are little mistakes here and there both in the video and in the song :D Ah well!
