That toter home runaway story sounds like Jerry Reed’s song The Legend! When he got to the bottom safe and sound everybody asked Bandit how he made it down? He said folks when the truck picked up too much speed i just ran along beside it and drug my feet 😂
I could sit and listen to all of y'all's stories all day love them and I have so much respect for y'all for the good things y'all have done, I have drove down Black Mountain several times I'm a truck driver Love the show
I met the Parkers in Lewis County, Ky at a deer hunting camp with a big apple orchard at it in 1999 or 2000. I can’t remember the exact year. The Parkers were all great people to be around and they treated us like us they had know us forever!
The funniest thing I remember was at the dinner table and a guy with us told Hank Jr he had been following his racing career and Catfish spoke up immediately and said, “Well you’ve been watching the back of the pack then because that’s where Hank Jr finishes”……Everybody wanted to laugh but we didn’t know if it was ok or not and of course we didn’t wanna make Hank or Hank Jr mad. But Hank Jr laughed and said we’ll be up front next year and laughed so then we all laughed!!! Awesome family no doubt

Dont know if Hank Sr remembers a young angler bending his ear dang near off at a boat ramp in Traverse City Michigan well Hank that young man went on to run a charterboat on Lake Michigan and has been running charters and private boats out of the Keys now for 15 years. Hank and Al Lindner both gave that kid the time of day and then some!! Every kid has their heroes and those two men were mine!!! Thanks from that young angler who happened to be me
