Worked road construction in Virginia and Georgia and use to repair driveways with a Bobcat Skid steer and now I use only my BX Tractor and if you have never done it before you did just fine. I always say if it's your driveway than you can learn best by just experimenting to find the best way for you. As for your neighbors driveway consider this. I make between $250 to $700 depending on the size and how bad it is.
@@AkDadStuff I don't charge my friends either but I do make some money on the side and it's also important to have insurance to cover anything that could happen. I know some home policies won't cover anything past your driveway including your own mailbox area if you hit or are hit by a car.

That worked pretty well. I've found some extra weight on the blade helps. I wrap a big chain around the upper frame.
