Firstly, people have been asking me about why I didn't use the milkmade hat! This is a reasnonable question that I actually answer in the video (but it's easy to miss), and so the reason was that I deemed it too expensive for what it gives since Wortox only gets half the hunger from it compared to other characters.
Also, about Fuelweaver! He's the most complex boss in all of Don't Starve and so I couldn't really explain all the details in the actual video. Anyways, right at the start of Phase 2 he becomes INVINCIBLE by puting up a force field. To get rid of it you need to destroy the "unseen hands" that spawn at the edge of the circle. To destroy them, you need to be insane and to do that, I use a nightmare amulet. By being insane however, FW can mind-control you and I abuse this in the fight actually. By equiping the amulet right before I put him in phase 2 for example, he gets locked into the mind-control animation and I can place a few extra free hits. Then by unequiping it at the right time, I avoid being mind controlled! He also has the bone snare attack that you need to watch out for. You can dodge it if you can anticipate it by walking FAR away from the boss, otherwise you need to soul hop (or tp) out of the snare. His final notable ability are the woven shadows (healers) he spawns. These heal him for 400 if he eats them. This ability is also put on a cooldown when enough of them die, which is why I try to keep them alive by kiting FW until they die automatically! I want to align the shield and healer cooldowns. The healers also drop souls and to not overload, I TP away a few times to shed some! I hope this cleared things up!

Years of playing with friends that keep dying made me into a formidable force that can somehow manage to make multiple life amulet a day. This is just my lifestyle at this point.

I mean I use every methods available, from hound mound/Varg, earthquakes, ruins reset, dragon fly, sunken chest the all package. The real important thing is to move fast and play like you're on a world record speed run.
If your friends can be good little ghost and help you out it's extremely easy. Otherwise, you'll just have to be very efficient.

I cant imagine how stressful it is to micromanage your health when starving, and constantly being under pressure to do things before you starve. As a casual player this seems absolutely insane!

Theres a milk hat that gives you hunger while its equipped on your head and there is no eat prompt when using it. Bit cheesy but it does follow your rules
Absolutely! That's actually what gave me the idea in the first place! I actually mention it in the video around 6:59 but with how much info that's packed into this video, I totally understand you missed it. The reason I didn't go for it in this attempt was that I tried it in a failed run and realized that Wortox only gains half the hunger value from it! This made it not worth crafting for me since it's so expensive, requiring resources from both the sea, the caves, and the surface! I even made a bull-kelp farm so I would have the option to make some if I would need to! Enjoy
This is one of the best DST videos I've ever watched. Your gameplay and narration (both voiced and written) are on point. Very entertaining, managed to keep me hooked as if I was watching something about a brand new game, even though I have lots of experience on it. I also like to make that clear by saying things like; "...as much as I did making them", and by preaching "Enjoy Life". I also especially like this experience since I was on a time crunch to get it out before I went on vacation! It made the editing process just as exciting as the run, if not more! Also, workarounds is how I opperate, I think they make for great moments for the viewer as well, and I like to tell a story with good plot twists!

I'm not part of the usual Don't Starve crowd, but I like challenge videos like these, and I noticed your attention to detail and thoroughness in this video. The time you take to provide timestamps and music, providing detail on your process during the run, and replying to every single comment shows dedication and care towards your audience. Your spike in subscribers is well-deserved. I was wondering why you opt for subtitles over voice-over for the boss sections? I'm not complaining, as I love and rely on subtitles, just curious about the choice.
Wow, thank you for the words and thank you for watching, and of course I'll reply to you as well! The reason behind the subtitles are; 1. That I want the viewer to experience the feeling of fighting the bosses that I have (so even people outside DST can connect for example), 2. Since many DST youtubers just tell you what they do in the fights instead of showing you (it's a video for a reason right, and not a podcast) which makes it just like any other segment, I decided to stick out and make something I myself would enjoy watching (this let's me put more love into the "craft"), 3. I basically only listen to instrumental music IRL and I'd like to share my taste in situations where people appreciate it, 4. I love to try to sync music to the gameplay by doing cool cuts, zooms and speed changes, and 5. I want to be different and stand out since I've never seen videos done in this way on YT (with both narration and subtitle segments). I hope this answered your question! Enjoy!

Okay, here's the thing! IMO animation canceling isn't even that good (unless you're on a beefalo). It just marginally increases you damage output and it requires way more skill than I have to pull off consistently. That too, it requires skill in comparison to the pan flute which reduces the amount of skill you need. With that said though, this is just my opinion and I'm totally fine with people using the pan flute in their games especially if it keeps them playing and enjoying the game more!
@@-TheChosenOne I really don't have a problem with canceling animation (of any kind) I made the comment because for me in a sandbox game all the ways to play are correct, you can use panflute and cancel animation at the same time which in IMO there will be no problem since you have that freedom to play as you want.
Then it seems we 100% agree! The main reason I bash the pan flute is actually cause it's funny! Before I made youtube I was looking at peoples boss strategies and always went like: "Really, pan flute again!? I used them all for Bee Queen, why can't you do literally anything else!" and when I started YT I thought it would be funny to bash the flute instead of praising it!

You could also play as Wigfrid (restores parameters - including hunger - by killing stuff), Wanda (has time instead of HP, which can be restored by clocks that you're using instead of eating) or Wormwood (uses manure and poultices instead of food to heal)
Smart! I didn't want to play Wigfrid again since I did that last time, and I thought about Wanda but suspected I would die accidentally to often! (I also thought her revive would be too OP) But I never thought about Wormwood, that's actually cool if you could pull it off and probably increddibly difficult!

Have you tried the milk made hat? I've only used it once before but i think it's an effect instead of counting as eating, like jelly beans or soothing tea (both of which are uneffected by Warly's memory) so i don't think you would get half effect as Wortox. Ie if wortox gets full effect of jelly beans i think he would get full effect of the milk hat

Ty my friend! The star on the screen is from the "Eat your Veggies"/"Picky Eater" mod, made by Joeshmocoolstuff! It makes it so you can only eat certain things and I set it to "10 crockpot meals". Since I never make a crock pot, I never have to worry about accidentally eating things (except for souls sadly so when that happens I set my hunger to 0 using console commands, but I lose the soul and some sanity as punishment). The mod doesn't help me in other ways! Also, sorry for not finishing the description! I had to sleep and I would have explained it there! Enjoy

i do have a question tho, why aren't you using intergrated backpack layout? It's much more convinient and it dosen't take up nearly as much of your screen, you can change it in the settings in the main menu
I'm aware of the setting definitely but for me backpack on the right is very nostalgic even though it's not optimal! If people like integrated more I can switch tho! I'll do a poll on it in a couple of days (can't have two polls too close together)
