- Hey friends! Last of the Carten T410 Rally Chassis Build up series. Prepping and painting your RC Lexan Body can always be a pain, especially if you can't always get the paint you need or want. The "Pastel Grey" from Tamiya is apparently no longer made, and finding a suitable replacement proved difficult. My solution was to clear coat the inside as a primer, then do the main color with regular rattle can paint. Let's just say this particular body is very very thin and does not hold up to any abuse. resulting in a little paint peel. Stay tuned.

Hey thank you! A little trouble with those masks yes ;) A little trouble with the thin-ness of the lexan making the paint chip when it takes a hit. I’ll figure something out.

Yes! I have some off road footage to edit. Last night I got third place in stock brushed with it. However the tamiya Sport tuned in there overheats terribly. I have to sort it out
@@MauzyrockRC i always recommend torque tuned over sport tuned. Sport tuned is an advanced timing motor that likes small pinions and short runs. Put some fans on the esc and the motor, good high voltage fans
@rexrcs Ok sounds good. I may just find a torque tuned to put in there. I was thinking perhaps the mesh was a little tight too. Thanks!

Yessir! It proved pretty fast in the stock/non modified race. 3rd place overall. That was on smooth gymnasium floor. Now to offroad!

Oh cool! You won’t be disappointed. FYI, I think a brushless system would do well. I think stock gearing may be high for some brushed motors
@@MauzyrockRC definitely, it's gonna be a 10.5 or an 8.0 with a hw 10bl120.

Ah cool, merci. Mon seul truc c’est que le Lexan est très mince, qui cause la peinture à craquer sur impacte…
