- If the front ring in your Carl Zeiss is loose, it’s quite easy to fix. Just unscrew the plastic front name plate with the rubber cone number 5 ( from Japan hobby tool) and tighten the 3 screws and secure them with a drop off nail polish, and then put the name plate on again.

Well, the front ring crashes out, on, for example, my two Classic ZF.2 Distagons (18 &21 mm). Apparently you need to push in the hood in and then click dextrally (!?). Meanwhile my Milvus is operating wonderfully. I got one of those Distagons repaired via Zeiss HQ. It cost me a fortune, so good luck with your project. Please offer your services to all Classic, Mulvis and Otus owners. And that’s just for Nikon-F mount!
I messed up the disassembly of an 85mm CY Zeiss and need help putting it back together. It is just the very back element with the aputure ring. I don’t understand how to align it properly. I’d be willing to pay good money for us to get on a zoom call and fix it if you think that is possible. Thanks from Germany - Sean.
Very interesting! Did you ever take apart Zeiss lenses with ARRI standard mount?
I would like to ask for an estimate on the price of repairing my camera.
It is a Hasselblad 2000FC model. The problem is with the shutter of the camera being jammed and it doesn't move when I try to take a picture.
For such a repair of making the shutter work again, how much will it cost ?
I need clean a Distagon 28 2.8 CY. Some consideraciones? Please?
