I've heard this song a million timse by this point but hearing that arrangment really made me cry again. Wow.

Imo she should have won eurovision. Not just because I am from Sweden but it's a great song that fits all over the globe. And her emotional journey throughout the song together with the instrumental build up is just amazing.
"Hold me Closer" with Cornelia Jakobs won the Eurovision 2022 here in Sweden - and then came in at number 4 in the finals!! We have a lot of great composers in this country as you all know!! God Bless Sweden!!

If the best song would win it was this with Germany 2nd and uk 3rd. We knew Europe would give it to UKR in fact if UKR put a dog barking at a washing machine as their entry the public would still have given it to them. It was great to hear the two best singers in this years contest sing this as a duet. Sam and Cornelia really made it so beautiful. Would have been interesting to hear you with the two of them
When I heard it as a duet I was shook!!! It made so much sense and took on new meaning. I wish it had been a duet for ESC. Plus their voices meshed so beautifully.
They also had Sheldon Riley cover it which was amazing, cause even though I didn’t like his song that much his voice is undeniable.
