Yes Brandon Lee died on set during the making of the Crow, he was shot by a bullet that was still in one of the guns (that were suppose to be all blanks and either was a malfunctioning blank or real bullet I cant remember) during the seen where he is on the table during the meeting of all those gangsters and they open fire on him, and yes he was Bruce Lee's son.

11:50 Steve Irwin died a few weeks before the episode aired and its weird that of all the crap South Park has done, people were so mad about Steve Irwin cause the joke was "too soon" cause people knew that some would dress up as him for Halloween. The most famous being Bill Maher who dressed as Irwin that Halloween.
This is one of my favorite episodes and is a hidden gem (most people forgot about it). I love how they make fun of spoiled MTV brats who celebrate they 16 or 18 birthdays.

Love this episode, the Steve Erwin thing was really controversial because the episode aired only a few weeks after he died, but like you said the south park creators have zero chill lmao. You should do "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy", great cartman episode.

They passed a law that made it illegal to play with live rounds on set anymore... so I dont know why Alec didn't share the blame with the prop crew.
if you havent watched it yet South Park S9 E4 "Best Friends Forever" was at the time by far the most "i cant believe they did this" episode...airing the day before they pulled the plug on Teri Schiavo
