Perfection falls way short of what I feel when I hear Jackie sing anything. What do you call it when perfection is perfected again and again? As for what she wears, who cares as long as shes covered,lol. Jackie's voice is what really matters and there is none better, never has been or will be...EVER...

The true and real fairytale that is Jackie Evancho! A little girl goes to see the movie Phantom of the Opera. She loves the movie and the music. Later, at home, her Mom hears beautiful singing filling the air. It sounds like it is coming from Jackie's room. Her Mom finds it is little Jackie, singing Think of Me in her closet. Thank God her mom hears the potential of Jackie's pure and heavenly voice. Talent contests and America's Got Talent follow, showcasing Jackie's angelic voice, and natural ability to become "possessed" by the music, and somehow interpret and perform songs like a master musician way beyond her years. Jackie turns out to be a true child prodigy. In my opinion, a once in a generation or a century voice. Jackie becomes the youngest platinum recording artist in history. Jackie has become an inspirational and healing voice to millions of us, all around the world. This world so needs a miracle and a fairy tale like Jackie Evancho. Jackie has been heard to say she wants to make the world a better place. My world is a much better place, after discovering Jackie's singing. I listen to her wonderful albums and performances almost every day. Thank you, Jackie, for all the hard work and sacrifices you put in to create the priceless treasure of your body of work, for your audience to cherish and enjoy. You have now told us it was not at all easy, and it took a toll on your childhood. Your fans are so very grateful for every wonder-filled performance you have ever done.

Such a beautiful, smooth voice...just like a wind instrument, a flute or something like that. Jackie has been venturing into pop and "New Broadway". Caught her performances in late 2019, and my gosh, such a rich, mature voice and incredible stage presence. She's quarantining with her family at home in Pittsburgh but still treats fans to "little songs" recorded live in-house. What a princess!

This was on TV in the breakroom at work this morning. I was reading a magazine, not really paying much attention to the TV...but when this song started, whatever article I was reading was instantly forgotten. Her singing was so beautiful, by the end of the song I was in tears. Bravo!

dav bon I have never heard a soprano with a purer voice. Unfortunately, Jackie suffers from the typical soprano 'no comprende' in her upper register.

At the very end, she did an abbreviated version of that "Awww, shucks" shrug she use to do when she was ten and slightly embarrassed. Very cute!. I think this is my favorite song from her new album.
I love that little shrug also, as for her Awakening album, I think it really demonstrates how amazing her range is. I love all the songs on her new album, there isn't a song on there that I honestly don't like, a masterpiece.
Most TV audiences aren't really that knowledgeable about Opera they just know what's beautiful. To have one of the best singers of this song in the world perform it for you at a day time TV show is a rare gift. Most people know it was unbelievable but don't know they just saw the best, some say equal to Dulce Pontes and some say better than

This remains one of my favorite songs by Jackie. Few have attempted to record it, as it is apparently technically very difficult..

Isn't it refreshing to see a singer who doesn't need to expose body parts, needs no back up dancers, no outlandish make up or costumes? She's just that good of a singer, that we want to hear her lovely voice...anything added would be a distraction.
One report at an event she was warming up backstage acappella and a stagehand got a friend to come listen. He said it was the most beautiful thing he had ever heard. I couldn't agree more!!!! She is lovely. Maybe record something acappella?

I believe this was live, at least her singing, because this same song on the album was sang somewhat differently.
She always sings live on her television performances. It's a matter of pride for her.
Jackie VERY RARELY lip syncs. Here and almost everywhere she sings in public if there aren't musicians behind her she's using a backing track.

Sadness has not left me today. All the horrifying news. It seems certain men in positions of Wealth or Power , have no humanism or empathy for mankind ,or creatures on this Planet. Asif they think they,, are eternel... Only the purity of soul ,voice and grace of Jackie. . Helps sooth a tired old lady ; Who wishes all the evil beings would vanish.
Some women on the dem side look pretty horrifying to me as well. But Jackie is definitely a breath of fresh air, that transcends political parties.

This interpretation "kills" the imho best presentation in the Italian homeland of E. Morricone`s phantastic piece of music: See singer Dulce Pontes (on youtube). A bunch of other singers failed to get the jump on to the characteristic high notes which are absolutely necessary for Morricone`s work. I said before, 14 years old, claiming to be just "cross over",-- where are the boundaries to cross in four years?
I wait for the "Queen of the night" as prove JE rules all genres (exc. Pop-Rock)!
I do not think you are Italian, because it would be only a matter of pure nationalism, but I have seen several of his comments and I have not seen any pro Jackie; .you must be very hard heart or just suffering from a slight deafness

I think there is a basic misunderstanding! Felic, I `m a true fan of JE and "kills" mean JE`s performance is so much better than the Italian I know. The second part of my comment gives prove by pointing out a bright future for Jackie. Please accept this little clarification.

your performance is very good, unfortunately I could not find any live presentation, except one; but by the comments on the video I'd rather not give an opinion.
could only say that it is a very good performer in CD; and she really feels what he sings!

Everett Cox Only one ring is on the base of a finger, so that's likely a newer ring. I'm guessing that the other rings are the Promise Rings she had worn in the past (only on her left hand). Since she recently experienced a growth spurt, those rings are too small now -- notice how they are on the middle segment of her fingers.
In her Dream With Me In Concert performance, she has a pair of rings on her left ring finger. They seem to be on her middle finger and pinky now.
Grey Skies . Absolutely in agreement. When she sings Ave Maria ,in Longwood gdns. HER interpretation of Vasilovs composition is PERFECTION The rest is too much outdated lighting too much colour . Very las vegas !!!!!! More played down simple , decor I know how most people like a "SHOW" but it is not desirable when miss Evancho performs
