Imho, Amira Willighagen's Ave Maria by W Gomez is other-worldly! And she has no huge orchestra just her brother on violin, mother on recorder (poorly) and her father on church pipe organ. The rewards of God however are immediately recognised as Eternal. Since this recognition is made by you and not the ego, the recognition itself establishes that you and your ego cannot be identical, You may believe that you have already accepted the difference, but you are by no means convinced as yet.
The fact that you believe you must escape from the ego shows this, but you cannot escape from the ego by hummbling it or controlling it or punishing it.
The ego and the Spirit do not know each other. The separated mind cannot maintain the separation except by dissoctiating. Having does this, it denies all truly natural impulses, not because the ego is a separate thing, but because you want to believe that YOU are.
The ego is a device for maintaining this belief, but it is still only your decision to use the device that enables it ot endure.
How can you teach someone the value of something he has deliberately thrown away? He must have thrown it away because he did not value it. You can only show him how miserable he is without it, and slowly bring it nearer so he can learn how his misery lessens as he approaches it.
This teaches heim to assocaite his misery with its absence, and the opposite of misery with its presence. It gradully becomes desirable as he changes his mind about its worth.
I am teaching you to associate misery with the ego and Joy with the Spirit. You have tausght yourself the opposite. You are still free to choose, but can you really want the rewards of the ego in the presence of the rewards of God?
My Trust in You is greater than yours in Me at the moment, but it will not always be that way. Your mission is simple. You are asked to live so as to demonstrate that you are not an ego, and I do not choose God's channels wrongly.
The Holy One shares My Turst and accepts My Atonement decisions because My decisions are never out of accord with His. I have said before that I am in charge of the Atonement.
This is only because I completed My part in it as a man, and now complete it through others. My chosen channels cannot fail, because I will lend them MY Strength as long as theirs is wanting.
You are the light of the world, Who is the light of world except God's Son? This then is the merely a statement of the truth about yourself.
It is the opposite of a statement of pride, arrogance, or self-deception. It does not describe the self-concept you have made. It does not refer to any of the characteristics with which you have endowed your idols. It refers to you as you were created by God. It simply states the Truth.
To the ego this idea is the epitome of self-glorification. But the ego does not understand humility mistaking it for self-debasement.
Humility consists of accepting your role in salvation and in taking no other. It is not humility to insist you cannot be the light of the world if that is the function God assigned to you.
It is only arrogance that would assert this function cannot be for you, and arrogance is always of the ego. True humility requires that you accept this idea because it is God's Voice which tells you it is True.
This is a beginning step in accepting your real function on earth, It is a giant stride toward taking your rightful place in salvation. It is a positive assertion of your right to be saved, and an acknowledgement of the power that is given you to save others.
It is the prefect answer to illusions, and therefore to all temptation. It brings all the images you have made about yourself to the Truth, and helps you depart in Peace, unburdened and certain of your purpose.
This idea goes far beyond the ego's petty views of what your are and what your purpose is, As the Bringer of salvation, this obviously necessary,

you've brought this upon yourself for serving a corrupt government that just uses puppet to achieve power and wealth. but I think there is hope for you, praying is not the answer, finding people or a person that care and loves you may be the answer, and their are doctors out there that can treat or ease the pain. some of these comments are religious, but they are right about one thing, you must let go of your ego, or you will hurt the people around you as you just hurt others from other nations. Magnificent rendition of Ave Maria by Jackie, who was once referred to as "The Ave Maria girl" in her hometown because she sang it so often at local venues. This grabs you and holds you until the last note. After the last note, then you've gotta play it again.

One of Jackie's most angelic performances. I love this so much. Her voice is transcendent, and she is one of the most beautiful women on earth.
It is beyond a tragedy that someone of Jackie's talent now languishes in relative obscurity, performing at C-list venues with empty seats, when once she was America's darling and was woshipped by millions. Where are all those fans now? Her voice is different now, yes, but that innate something-else that she had as a child performer is still there, albeit changed, matured. I hope her career picks up again and she recovers from her health issues and finds happiness.

Jackie is presently on national tour with songs from the new album plus fan favorites from previous albums beginning with a series of concerts at City Winery venues in Nashville, Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Chicago and Atlanta through Oct. "City Winery offers live music, comedy shows and more by top artists", the same type venue as the famous Cafe Carlyle and Feinstein's 54 Below in New York City where Jackie has returned for several command performances. Most recently, she gave a concert in Nashville with nearly full attendance. Among the audience was Chloe Agnew , main vocalist of Celtic Woman, who took several photos with Jackie. She said City Winery Nashville is one her favorite venues for entertainment. Jackie will be in Boston Oct. 16th. Furthermore, Christmas concerts are tentatively scheduled (venues unrevealed as yet).
In 2020, she gave 8 outstanding performances as "Kitty" on The Masked Singer season 3 (a TV audience of 7M), followed immediately by 3 back-to-back concerts at the end of Feb. in Utah and Colorado to resume her national tour. Then Covid restrictions but a stop to concert touring in March, so she was out of work. In November, she suffered a serious relapse of anorexia and was hospitalized for inpatient care, now receiving professional treatment. In Jan. of 2021 her back was broken in a car accident which has taken considerable time to heal. These are the circumstances which have contributed to her "languishing in relative obscurity" the past two years. My dad took us to Longwood Gardens for several years, and when he died of Covid-19 in 2021... I was not able to comfort him in his last days, but hope he heard her singing....Sorry for your loss as well.

My dad also took us to Longwood Gardens for several years, as he was the Director of Delaware State Parks...He also taught at the University of Delaware and Oglebay Park in Wheeling West Virginia...I ended up in the New Castle County Delaware Forestry Department, and we went to Longwood Gardens to see how they also took care of trees.

I have listened to this song countless times in my work vehicle and love it, but watching her perform it with such passion on stage opened the flood gates! It's so beautiful it's hard to watch with tears streaming out of your eyes! Speechless and running out of Kleenex! I am forever regretting I missed attending this concert!

I COMPLETELY understand what you're going through with listening & watching JEM sing. I just turned (a young) 61 on the 7th, and ever since JEM was on AGT, all I need to do is JUST THINK of her to get teary-eyed, It gets more when I listen, and even more when I watch her. At first, I thought I was the only one who had these symptoms, until I found many others like you who were struck with her in this way, and we still are. I have a theory on why this happens, but it's an otherworldly explanation. Another thing, Sir Ironman, and you are not so 'iron' are you as far as JEM is concerned?!!, I find it VERY SPECIAL to respond to JEM thusly, and I wonder why you, I, and thousands of others respond to her like this. Another thing, exactly last year at this time she hosted the MUZART function (but it wasn't one of her concerts) and I missed it, and also her concert at the Maverick Center, Salt Lake City, 3-31-12, and I missed that one too (lack of transport - I live about 50 south of the Maverick Center), So I can understand you missing your concert. I'll be safe to say that you WON'T MISS the airing of this LONGWOODS Concert in DEC will you? One question, I haven't seen when this event was filmed, I think early summer, but I've never seen an exact date...Can you, or anyone else give me the exact date of the filming of this event?

Auguet 23rd, I had the option of going to one of three concerts scheduled in August, Chautauqua, NY on Aug 8th, Lancaster Aug 10 or Longwood Gardens Aug 23rd. I picked Lancaster due to the hot summer weather I was more comfortable indoors in air conditioning. Now, knowing what I missed, I would have braved the fires of hell to have seen this concert in person!
***** Again I assure you, dear friend, that although the mechanics of making such an elaborate PBS special are fascinating to observe, you are getting the fullest impact of Jackie's angelic singing and persona right here in high def and colorful close-ups, etc. While it's nice to have been present at so historic an event, I think the full complete PBS show, and hopefully a good DVD thereof, will impart to any Jackie FANatic the full and wonderful impact of her amazing artistry (still so angelic, yet growing richer),lovely looks (still more like a mid- to late- teen), and neat personality (modest and thoughtful, exuberantly 14-year-old, caring, devout, and often wise beyond her years). Each song from her new AWAKENING album grows more on me each time I hear it :) Am breathlessly awaiting December; must find out when local PBS station(s) will present this, her THIRD (!!! :) :) :)) GREAT PERFORMANCES special :)

I can only imagine how magical it must have been if you were at this event. Unless you are among the fortunate few to have seen Jackie performing live elsewhere, it's very difficult to be able to match this experience in a lifetime.

I can not quit watching this. I agree that hearing this on the CD isn't as emotional as seeing her sing in this beautiful garden. She is truly gifted and a beautiful girl as well! I hope this concert comes out on DVD.

When I listen to this particular performance of Jackie I imagine that in heaven when an angel sings this song...this is what you would hear! Jackie. Is an amazing talent and a reason to give thanks for one more day on this planet and one more chance to hear what heaven might sound like.

We watched Jackie grow from a miniature superstar to now a beautiful young woman with the voice of an angel . She had us in almost tears and shouts of joy as she won the talent show. May she remain as she is now , humble and just herself . Dont ever get plastic surgery and destroy the beauty that God gave you.
