I lost my Dad to covid just over a year ago. Eid is always particularly difficult for me and the family because we're only a small family, and not many friends or relatives that stay connected, but Dad had his way to ensure that Eid was still special. Thus, now when Eid comes along, it feels incredibly empty, it's like what we lost just hits us so hard all over again.
I have been thinking about you, the rawness of the loss you must feel right now. My heart and my duas go out for you and your loved ones, may Allah (SWT) bless you all and give you strength and patience. Also, even though it may be difficult to imagine, may He bless you all with happiness again. Most of all, may He (SWT) reunite you with your beloved Mother once it is your time to go. Ameen.
May Allah make things easy for you, ameen
and bless your Father's Afterlife, ameen ❤🙌🏻
Jaziaka Allahu gairan Mufti.
This was very deep and profound, thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts Mufti and God Bless you and everyone else who's on this so called journey of life.
Definitely no quick fixes you have to go through the feelings and emotions
I lost my mum in 2023 and I only I know what was happening to me, sometime I had to sit couple of times coming back from graveyard I started breathing harshly struggle to walk, I discovered they were panic attacks which I received for good year and half as they gradually slow down. I was alone and only people I spoke to was online or a friend that I attended uni with long time back and she helped me through advise she mentioned waves will come
I never ever been in such state in my life since birth but finally I feel okay with memory but deep down my demands are mum comes back.
Faith, Sabr and understanding the process of leaving this world helps a lot in grieving process, it is natural, it stays with you till the time starts healing you. Some grieve longer than others and there is nothing wrong in it. Loosing your loved ones especially parents is always very difficult and my prayers are with you Mufti saheb.
JazakAllah my brother,
Allah keep you blessed 🙌🏻❤
I am disturbed by the fact that among those on the spiritual journey some are rewarded more than others. For some mysterious reason, their capacity to bear stress is more whereas some others collapse
