Waterproofing Our Van's Shower + More Van Build Projects

- In episode 27 of Van Build Series 2.0, we make headway on the shower walls and start waterproofing the shower. The kitchen cabinets finally get their face frames and paint, and the van is finally starting to come together.

We are about to do the same with our shower. What are y’all using to adhere the palisade tiles to the aqua defense? We got premium loctite but aren’t 100% sure it’s fine for this application. Lol Also read that you need to apply a silicone sealant between the tiles.
And you didn’t put any tape over the screws? We got tape too, but also not sure if it’s really necessary for the corners and over screws. Just want to make sure nothing leaks. 😂

Just finishing off my 2nd van build now and the most frustrating part was the plumbing with the freakin' leaks. I used sharkbite fittings and none of those joints leaked but anytime I connected to a thread, that leaked, even with thread tape on it!! Got it all sorted now but that took way too long and I can imagine it's going to be an ongoing issue to keep an eye on too.
How's the aqua defense holding up?
