  • With the launch of the new Soulmate Special Edition of the 2025 Kia Soul, Kia is attempting to evoke a little bit of summertime affection in prospective buyers. As part of the special edition, a distinctive set of alloy wheels measuring 18 inches is included, and the inside is painted in a brown color called "umber."
In addition, the Soulmate will come standard with a two-tone roof, a Harman Kardon audio system, which is typically an extra feature on the GT-Line trim, lower-body cladding, and a combination of synthetic and cloth and synthetic leather upholstery. The subcompact SUV will be mechanically similar to the version that was released in 2024 going forward, with the exception of the special edition.
Since the year 2023, the Kia Soul has only had a single engine choice, and this year is not deviating from that policy. Along with all of the other Soul models that will be available in 2025, the Soulmate will be driven by a continuously variable automatic gearbox that is combined with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower. In spite of the fact that it took 8.0 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour, the most recent Kia Soul that we tested seemed speedy enough for driving about town.
As of 2025, prices have been raised throughout the board, but only somewhat. When compared to 2024, each trim level is now $100 more expensive, making the Soul a more appealing choice for those who are on a tight budget. The LX, which is the base model, now has a starting price of $21,665, while the S is priced at $24,165, the GT-Line is priced at $25,265, and the EX is priced at $25,965. Despite the fact that Kia has not yet disclosed the official price of the Soulmate edition, we are willing to bet that it will be priced similarly to the GT-Line and EX trims.
