Viper ACR Extreme vs Porsche 918 at Spa Francorchamps track

- With my friend in his 918. I had just started on track and the 918 was just behind me. He then appears about 35 seconds into the video. Ok its not a straight dual as there was lots of traffic and so we couldn't do a proper head to head, however its clear to see the 918's superior fire power to overtake when it has a straight in front of it. At points I would have been able to close the gap substantially were it not for the traffic, but it was what it was. Anyway a bit of fun.

This guy did good but he needs to have better trust in his car. Its almost like he doesn't know what its capable of, every time he made a turn he braked harder than he needed to, and dint realize the this viper was made to obliterate turns like those.

the snake looks completely neutral on an F1 racetrack. On a tighter track porsche would have the advantage
You don’t know what this dodge is capable of I guess? It broke 13 track records and produced the most downforce ever recorded on a production car. No way the Porsche beats it on a tighter track. Has more chance on a fast open track like this

No. Don't make it sound like the traffic was only affecting you. It wasn't. The 918 was just a few hundred feet in front of you and was therefore encountering the same traffic as you were too. Tell it like it is. The Porsche 918 Spyder is one hell of a road car that clobbers track cars in their own territory.
Try buying that 918. Close to a MILLION dollars. Go buy the Viper. Around 150,000.00. Then go service them. I'll take the Viper any day.

chillout1109 It has everything to do with price. Yes to big race teams or rich people it might not matter but I'm neither. I can afford the Viper, can't afford the 918, and no one else in my circle can. I doubt if they would even be in the same class of racing.
