Installing long crown moulding by yourself

  • I'm installing a 23' run of crown moulding by myself with the help of the Fastcap crown moulding clips. These make the job a cinch! Also showing the results of my joining technique with two pieces of MDF crown.

    💥✨💥 I am thinking that the distance down from the ceiling is very precise because once the crown is up that distance has to be exactly the same all the way around the room especially in the corners. Also will these work on both 45° and 38° crown.?? I thank you for sharing this video.

    How far down do you place the hangers? Does it matter?

      It doesn't really matter... I just put the nails in a spot where the trim covers them

    The very first video i watch is this guy cutting the crown to long. For a channel called the tool guy why didn't he break out his laser tape get exact measurement and chalk a line with his chalk box with white chalk?....

      laser yes, chalk line? armatures, just use a level as you go bud
