Ana will 100% draft a Def if they don’t win the lottery. Lindstrom would be a perfect fit in Chicago, Bedard need a big top forward to go in the corner for him. CBJ are not scare at all about the "Russian Aspect", pretty sure Demidov will end up there.
If Michkov can drop, Demidov can drop. The majority of Russians do drop so it shouldn't really be that big of a surprise if it happens.

Catton is a master on the rush which is exactly Philly’s play style. He would be the perfect linemate next to Michkov. He is quite literally the most “Flyer” in this draft

@@judistzoinkiski3395 If the Devils trade their pick I think a trade with Chicago's other first rounder (Tampa 18-19) makes a lot of sense. Devils don't have a 2nd rounder this year while Chicago has 3 along with a ton of other picks and prospects. Something like 2 second rounders with tampas pick to move up maybe with a prospect as well.

I don't know... Regardless of all the stories about Eiserman, he still scored 75 goals this season. I think that's 2 more than Caufield did in his draft year. And he's 4" taller. I have a hard time believing a top 10 team won't bite. I know i won't be disappointed if my Habs go for him. Assuming Lindstrom is already gone
If the Sens select Yakemchuk with Parekh or Demidov still on the board I would really question the scouting that would be very dumb imo they aren't even in the same tier

Your team as a desperate need of a talented RD. Parekh does make lot of sense, but Yakemchuk is a bull, is physical and got some skill. If his defense improved, he could be a steal.
@foktoppe sure but none of them will be NHL ready for 2-4 years and a lot can change in that time if I'm a GM I'm not just drafting a positional need that might not even be a need there 3 years down the line and that's just for them to break in we need a top 4 RHD so that would likely be 4-5 years for any of those guys
With all due respect, I vehemently DISAGREE with two of your picks with the first being there is NO WAY on Earth that Demidov lasts to 10 and second there is ZERO CHANCE that the Flyers are passing on Eiserman if he is there at 12!!!
Philly loves their big players but man we NEED more centers, idk how we don’t take someone like Catton, Helenius or Lindstrome… if they fall to 12 😂

I think it's definitely a possibility, him and Catton I think could be big fallers.
I definitely think Catton can fall out of the top ten. Demidov is another tier over Catton. However, you're right you can't have too many of these guys and expect to do well in the playoffs.
Right now Demitov only has one year left in Russia. Not that he won't reup.

Yup, I’m actually okay with either Yakemchuk or Parehk for Ottawa. Seems like the Sens are put in a good position to select either one in the draft, if that’s what Staios and scouting decide to go with

Honestly, I could still see the Sharks taking Eiserman in that spot, especially with them taking a D first, so no changes there!
@@GravitehHockey Sharks fan here. If the Sharks end up at #3 and correctly go for a defenseman (which I would do if they get the #2 pick as well) then yes Eiserman would be a great fit. There are very few forwards whose first instinct is to score in SJ. Not a lot of offensively talented players as is but all of them are pass first players. Need a sniper like Eiserman to be on the end of passes from Granny, Eklund, and hopefully Will Smith. That being said, the Sharks will probably drop to 2 since the Penguins are going to move up to 4 (because of course) meaning the Sharks don't get the Penguins' pick till 2025 since it's top 10 protected this year. That still leaves room for Celebrini to go to Chicago as well, so everything checks out there.
Do you see Lindstrom projecting as a Center or a Winger at the next level? Ive seen both

Flyers are taking the best Centre or LD available 100%. Their Centre and LD prospect pool is non-existent. I can't picture them drafting a RW, it's literally the last thing they need. even if best available.

All 3 Demidov, Buium and Catton out of the top 9 is a bit ridiculous imo... Buium should be drafted as the top 4 D of this draft class (could be 1st or 2nd), not 6th. The 16 players picked for the top16 makes a lot of sense though. I can't see any team that needs defenseman in the pipeline pass over the top D's cause they are more talented than the offensive prospects after Celebrini & Demidov. I see it this way for this particular draft (in order):
Top 6 offense: Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, Catton, Iginla & Helenius or Eiserman | Top 6 defenseman are: Levshunov, Buium, Parekh, Dickinson, Silayev and Yakemchuk.I
Clearly the Sharks let Ray Tufts, their head athletic trainer for the last 20 years or so, go because they've been informed by the league that they're winning the lottery. Rick Celebrini (Macklin's dad) has that role with the Golden State Warriors, they're going to get him to come along with his son.

Your videos are always interesting so I appreciate the effort you put into this - even if I often disagree with your take. I'm no draft expert on NHL prospects but in this video I disagree on a few players. To begin with I definitely do not see Helenius in Top 5 - I would be very surprised if that happens. I will also be surprised if Dickinson goes Top 3 and if Demidov slides to #10 - but anything is possible. However, I do agree that Montreal could pick Iginla at #5 or # 6. Habs seem very interested in Tij.

Sharks fan here. If we end up with 3rd overall (which we likely will) I would totally go for Buium. But I think Mike Grier will chose Lindstrom or Levshunov. The 14th overall is actually ours as well and I think if Eiserman will drop down Mike will také a shot. Safer option could be Nygard.
