@@godmagnus I wasn't sure she was playing along until 11:11. That look into the camera told me she was just playing more into the awkwardness and being more of a straightwoman. Very well.
"Voice acting.... could be anybody" easy for Jenny to say when she alone replaced the whole cast of My Little Pony in the Friendship is Witchcraft parody
at the point Emma gives that fantastic stare into the camera I think it's pretty clear she's fully on board with the joke, i think if anything they're both too good at being deadpan
I like that no matter how unpopular her opinion may be, this girl will go to the grave disliking Rogue One. Good on you for sticking to your guns, Jenny!
theoldar yeah, I've been wondering why she doesn't reference or promote this show on her channel. She did it once and that's actually why I started watching. As I'm typing this, she has 31,000+ views on the video she also posted today. That's 5x more than this one.
I watched all the videos on her personal channel but it took me 7 years to stumble upon this goldmine by accident. So, yes to your comment. Very much yes.
I love watching Jenny's commentary. She has that deadpan style of humor that made Steve Wright so funny decades ago. Her delivery is getting better each time.
Subtextual tension between Jenny and the guest was hilarious; awesome collaboration. The self-aware awkwardness continues to be used to great effect. My daughter and I look forward to these each week for the Star Wars and the humor.
Jenny's delivery for interviewing Emma reminds me a little bit of Eric Andre simply in how off-putting they are towards their guests. I love it and it is super effective for making me laugh and the guest cringe lol.
I love how even though she usually coldly dismisses her guests without a second thought she somehow makes being super nice polite and caring seem like the creepier option
Tavo Flores M Ah ah ah! Point of order there my friend! (Pushes glasses upwards with nerd finger) Actually Tavo JarJar became a Republic Representative! In other words: he was in the equivalent of the Congress or House of Representatives. Rep JarJar Binks seconded giving full power to the Chancellor (Emperor) indefinitely! Dumb ass JarJar! Lol
Your Dad, I don't understand your comment. It was four months ago, so I guess others understood, but I really like how SWE comes to visit on her show. Jar Jar *WAS* a senator at one time, and imho was under the Force of Palpatine when he granted emergency powers. he was a secret agent of the Church of the Force, after all, and had his OWN agenda, unfortunately corrupted by the Sith.
Emma's dead pan awkward looks to the camera when Jenny talks, are like Snoopy or Charlie Brown, priceless! I keep expecting her to mutter "Good grief!" Or "Arrrrgh!!!" Lmao!
This is by far the best show that Screen Junkies has. I mean, that's not a high bar to meet, but, you know. Could be worse. Just like this episode! Thanks, Jenny!
Am I the only one who thinks she's playing a character? I thought it was obvious but it seems like comment-ers are taking the way she behaves in these videos very literally :v
I think that's just because a lot of people are kind of dumb. I don't think that anyone who is familiar with media thinks she's just always like this, nor anyone who understands the basics of talk shows or reality TV.
The devaluation of the imperial credits sound like it would have lead to hyperinflation rather than a recession. People would still have a job, but they would have found products (i.e. weapons) in short supply rather than being passed around as money. People would start to use other currencies (i.e. druggats) or easily transportable commodities (i.e narco-spice) in place of standard credits. If consumer banks within the empire had provided loans for bounty hunters and traders to buy ships, and then found that those people were not paying them back, possibly due to the empire blowing them all up, then there might be a cascade of bank failures in the galaxy, which would also bankrupt the investment banks who provided insurance on those loans. Loans would be harder to get afterward, reducing the ability for people to buy ships, eventually halting the entire galactic economy.
There's actually a lot of different stitches, if you watch the cartoon of leloo and stitch the whole premise is to find a whole bunch of different aliens like stitch.
I often wonder how prepared the guests are for Jenny's awkward rudeness hahah, because Emma Fyffe seemed genuinely shocked and confused as to what exactly was happening or she didn't expect the intensity. A lot of Jenny's questions and commentary really seem to have thrown her for a loop and she looked pretty uncomfortable, so that was pretty entertaining. The more I watch the more I'm sure she was saying internally, What the hell did I get myself into, but why not.. anyway this interview sticks out to me, and at the end she is starting to get that it's harmless and she gets kicked out. Hahahh. Either way, riveting. Also I just have to say that Alex is an incredibly gorgeous guy, wowza. I don't have to, but I will anyway. So, uh... alrighty. I'm going to post this comment now because why not. Cheers, yw
I would like it when Jenny challenges her guest about Star Wars knowledge that the lightsaber sound effect would be triggered, because she's laying down the gauntlet to her would be challenger. Then if the answer was incorrect the sound of another swing of the lightsaber whacking the head off of the challenger's head hitting the floor. Game over. Jenny WINS!
Oh, I got another one. It's not from a Disney property but it would afford many opportunities for fanservice. Captain Jack Harkness. An immortal time traveler who will flirt with pretty much any sentient species.
Jenny is like an SNL character who went rogue and escaped the skit she was in.
CaptainLazer85
😂😂😂
This description is beautiful
She's a good ol' *rogue one*, isn't she
I love her own video's but she is a really bad host.
Kris Adamson I always thought this was either scripted or part of her Schtick. Like some kind of Tim and Eric thing
Perfect. Ideal
I love watching the guests interact with Jenny, because they have No idea how to interact with her. It's awkward and uncomfortable but also great.
This is the first guest I've seen who honestly looks like she was not informed or shown previous episodes.
@@godmagnus I wasn't sure she was playing along until 11:11. That look into the camera told me she was just playing more into the awkwardness and being more of a straightwoman. Very well.

This is probably the greatest awkward chemistry out of any guest that's been on this show. Please bring Emma back.
@ThePicturetaker insert thank you gif here
Yeah the blonde chick is awful. She comes off as very resentful of Jenny for being so aloof
Actually on the rewatch, she's growing on me. It's probably the same way I had to watch Jenny a few times to enjoy her humor
at the point Emma gives that fantastic stare into the camera I think it's pretty clear she's fully on board with the joke, i think if anything they're both too good at being deadpan

As much unpopular as it is correct.

I would say it was mutually passive/aggressive lol.
Jenny doesn't strike me as passive-aggressive, more-so depressed. Dead inside.
This is funny because everybody knows it's true.
I can't tell if Emma doesn't get the bit, or if that IS the bit
@@theoldar jenny isnt passive agressive, shes a comedian whos only prerogative is to entertain herself
Jenny, you have to be more forceful on your personal channel asking people to watch these videos. Make a threat or something.

You're a bad car...
*shudder* anything but that
I got that reference!!
But none of them laugh this time.
this random call back just made laugh to hard for it to be healthy
You're a bad car...
I love watching Jenny's commentary. She has that deadpan style of humor that made Steve Wright so funny decades ago. Her delivery is getting better each time.
I'm disappointed that you didn't consider Cars. I just need to hear a car tell Ani that he's a bad car.
Jenny worked the shit out of Star Wars Celebration.
The horse has the force, of course, of course
the horse has one force power.
"I could be the one to go to his castle because my love could change him."

i want to see jenny fight with mike carlson on movie fights and talk about disney theme parks
Tin G. Definitely I would love to see that

Man Emma would win any poker game with that straight face.
What is that stuffed creature cuddling your lap? Another one at yr side, too! They're adorbz! Great episode! I laugh more and more every time!!
Ben Mettler That's Skippy from a former Disney attraction called Alien Encounter. I'd like to think Jenny has a closet full of those offscreen.
They did shoot like a year's worth of footage for this show at SWCA?
mk6rfc1 probably enough to last them until SDCC.
+Jackson Benight if Star Wars appears there that is, I think d23 is the week before
Independent of whether or not Star Wars has a booth or is in Hall H, there will still be a bunch of stuff at SDCC.
I was thinking the same thing, considering that every episode are barely 30 mins long.
I KNOW RIGHT
I wondered how many grannies have pinched Jenny's cheeks.

Agreed. As well as that the awkward interaction was planned rather than spontaneous. It's very funny regardless, but clearly self-aware.
TheEternalDuelist Exactly! This Jenny is a Caricature of herself.
She is absolutely playing a character, but there's nothing wrong with that. She plays it very entertainingly.

Props to the guest for not starting down a whole rabbit hole of arguments when the host disses Rogue One
